In my opinion Paul, I've found that having a lava generator using cauldrons and pointed dripstone is the best fuel generator. Lava smelts 100 items in a furnace, smoker, and blast furnace! The lava does take a while to generate, but if u have a long line of cauldrons, u should generate enough for all ur smelting needs!!! 😊

Yea but who wants to deal with the nausea effect of going thru the portal and coming back every time? Not to mention having to deal with ghasts and piglins after having to switch back and forth gold armor with ur netherite or other types of armor?

@@BriceTheTiger yeahh but considering he has a iron farm he could create a ton of buckets and just visit once as there is so much lava and easy access to it. Plus the piglins wouldn't effect him BC of his netherite armour and he flies past the ghasts

@@BriceTheTiger the piglins would hardly do any damage and even then he could just equipf a pair of golden boots which would solve the end problem so he has the rest of his armour still.

May I suggest putting a cow on your bottom platform? Then you can drink milk when you want the raids to end. Also, a blaze rod farm would be cool.

Lava/Blaze Rods are some of, if not the best fuels. Both are renewable, but Blaze Rods are faster to obtain than a Dripstone Lava machine.

For anyone building this farm, to know if your far enough from land to make the farm just adjust your render distance & see if you can see any land from the point where you want your farm. There’s no need to guess.

Paul, for the trash chests, put another hopper with a dispenser so that the totems can go into lava so it doesn't overflow. Do it with other trash items too tho. Also love the builds :)

Dripstone lava farm, or blaze farm. Both are excellent fuel sources. Kelp blocks are good, but it takes fuel to dry the kelp to make the blocks.

Carpet duper as fuel source. Or if you uncomfortable with duping just use bamboo farm.

I'm all for the suggestions video and you should make the old base from episode 1 (if you're not using it) into your fuel farm for Kelp. Kelp is able to smelt 20 items at a time for a Kelp Block

4:42 to help with ur fuel problem either a kelp farm or bamboo farm is best unless u want to go automated wood farms which are massive and lag inducing

Add an ocean Conduit all over; they look fantastic when put into larger builds + functional, and please expand the ocean underwater kingdom. I loved the original and how as it slowly grew bigger, it became more and more like an actual city so naturally.

Kept is a good fuel source, you just need make a farm for it and hook that farm to the automatic smelter or make a new automatic smelter

I used a keep farm to get dried kelp for fuel. I’ve switched to a lava farm(lava over drip stone and cauldrons) is way more efficient for my super smelter

I would watch a build episode for sure! It's my favorite type of video! A blaze farm would be good for fuel. But kelp is good for fuel and I've never seen anyone make a kelp farm fuel. It would be cool to see one.

Paul you can make a bamboo farm and turn them into into blocks which is very efficient because bamboo grows so fast and it is a great fuel source

While Totems are a main resource Raid farms are chosen for, there's several other useful drops. Witch bottles, Red and Glow stones also from Witches, Gundpower, woah yeah most the nice drops are from Witches. Even sticks, but Bamboo is better for that. But hey, emeralds from the Vindicators. Huge plus.

If you want to make an efficient fuel farm then I would say an a wither skeleton that has the ability to separate the coal from the other drops then use hoppers to funnel them into you're super smelter.

Zero tick kelp farms are easy to make very efficient and can be auto smelted into dry kelp and crafted into blocks each can smelt 20 items I think so it is ideal

Use bamboo as fuel for the super smelter. An automatic flying machine can harvest more bamboo than you could ever use

Super Smelter: Use dripstone to duplicate lava or fill lava buckets from the nether. Make a poop ton of buckets and fill up those hoppers. Once you have an iron farm buckets are so cheap so you can fill em up completely with lava buckets.

I say build an auto bamboo farm for easy endless wood. Also make an auto kelp farm close to the smelter, then have the kelp instantly go to the smelter. So all you have to do is put the dried kelp into kelp blocks.

Blaze rods are quick, efficient sources of fuel. Kelp takes too much time imo lol. Also lava, while slower, doesn’t need to be transported from farm to farm
