I'm surprised with some of the negative reviews. I was so impressed with the kzfaq.infoUgkxMwYg0MOXR4M-oGeyBsNSYe1aPOUoRH6D cage that I got the lat pulldown attachment that goes with it. It is equally outstanding. I don't have one complaint other than putting it together is a job. The instructions and packaging of the parts are very well designed and organized. Also, I stripped and damaged the pull down cable the first day, admitting it was my stupid fault, and they quickly replaced it at no charge. I'm 6'5, 280lbs and fit in the cage just fine. Glenn B

@Pler19784 жыл бұрын
@@LoveMountainAdventures i agree but this isnt all that expensive, take out the jammer arms and the prime pullup bar, ...its basically the rm 3 plus rhino which is less than 3k and then add some front feet and spotter arms, slinger, and a couple leg rollers, under 4k. On the fence of converting my monster half rack into this and using 43 inch crossmembers so there is no loss of function. This leaves very little room to get a bench inside

As much as this cost to build, rogue would have added another 25% on top lol. Nice ingenuity!
@airgordo44 жыл бұрын
Rogue already basically has this exact setup. Buy the racked version of the Rhino, buy a slinger.. Obviously that won't include the pull-up options and trolley arms, but the rest of it is pretty cost friendly. Racked version of the Rhino+slinger attachment is only about 3k. Best set-up Rogue has (cost/space wise) if you don't mind bench/squatting outside the rack IMO.
@HauptmannGallenstein4 жыл бұрын
@@airgordo4 do you think the rogue rhino with slinger is comparably good as the rack mounted latpull down for pulldowns and cable rows
@illestdomer20053 жыл бұрын
@@HauptmannGallenstein Given how smooth the Rhino trolley functions, the only advantages I can see to the lat pulldown are convenience: fixed seat with leg support, quick setup for low rows with more comfortable feet, and weight stack in 10lb increments. Of course, this comes at the cost of thousands of dollars and a giant footprint, not to mention a forklift to get it into your home gym.

I like that you can basically use the trolley for any weight. There's enough spaces to be able to add the bands to pretty much any exercise. It would be pretty much able to do most body weight exercises and support when you're trying to rehab something without having to just use a single bar. Over the top yes but you will totally be seeing things like this to facilitate a single footprint for a few me stop gym rack. Love it

That's an interesting creation. Definitly a space saver. Only issue I've found is that over time if set up isn't easy and quick it becomes a hassle. Although this has many possibilities I'm pretty lazy. My dream set up is to attach the rhino to the back of my monster rack.
@phoenixbaker51144 жыл бұрын
This is exactly what I told Rogue to do in a dm a week ago. No Response. Another thing I wanted to do was turn the outside of the rack into a full monolift with the Shrimp Trawler (overhead rack extension), add Spud Inc monolift straps and Monolift j cups.
@GarageGymReviews4 жыл бұрын
The Shrimp Trawler idea is pretty good. I'd just be curious about the weight capacity of those.
@FreedomWolfGaming4 жыл бұрын
I had never heard of the shrimp trawler. One of the biggest thing that's made me hesitant about upgrading from a squat stand to a rack, is the fact that I move a ton. So I'd want to get a short (ish) rack, but I don't want to have to buy a whole new rack down the road. I think what I'll do is get the shrimp trawler when I can so I can free-hang doing pullups.
@phoenixbaker51144 жыл бұрын
@@GarageGymReviews I think it would be just as strong as safety arms so long as the back of the rack is weighed down.
@phoenixbaker51144 жыл бұрын
@@FreedomWolfGaming The details when buying the Shrimp Trawler are a bit unclear. Even though in the picture it is extended high above the rack, I think it doesn't come with that. Just with a single arm that extends from the rack. You might want the flying pull up bar or soninex has something similar with band hooks. If you haven't bought a squat stand yet I would buy a yoke instead.
