I friend of mine bought a 1996 brand new Boxster - in 1996. We took a train from Florida to New York City to pick it up (he didn't like to fly.) Drove it back in one day, non-stop ... great car and got a lot of attention especially since it was the first year anyone had seen one. Great car, Bob, and I love the Tales from the trip when you find a car. Also, you've got a great brother! :)

EuroAsian Bob Strike Again! Cool car Bob, oddly I also like the yellow. I used to razz the "Poor Man's Porsche", but one day I was hanging out with some Porsche Club of America members and they schooled me on the Boxster S. Said that from the firewall forward it is basically a 911. They made a good case for the car and its merits. Always had new respect from that day forward.

Boxsters are fantastic bang for the buck cars. We had a 2002 that we just sold after 17 years of ownership. Looks like the headlights might have been refinished or replaced. The amber lenses appear to either be clear or smoked. Either way, looks like a great car.
