I am having fun with the different classes, i wish it would release so people were playing with me

If you're going to cover a bunch of classes again on their current state while showcasing the changes, you should totally go back to doing community polls to see what your viewers want next.

Love the duskwood background, I always felt like this class never really fit into the world of warcraft except for that small specific area, so it's awesome to see that part of it emphasized

I'm losing hope honestly. You guys keep pushing the date for release and don't give any new dates or anything. I pretty much started regretting paying for alpha in support of you guys leaving us still in the dark all the time.

It has been 510 days since they announced the core rework in preparation for the 60 phase. At least it isn't a kickstarter MMO.

Knight's Seal seems pretty busted! It does 50 shadow damage every 13 days

I'm surprised they haven't put a open alpha for coa. It's their game I guess but I'm at the point where I don't even wanna play it anymore its been to long without opening it up to the public for free. At this point If it doesn't fail I'll be surprised

CoA should be the Ascension teams focus. Its really lame that its just a side project thats obviously just drip fed resources...

McDoubles I'm so glad people like you are working on a project of this type. To have developers who are passionate about the game they are making and playing is the best. How much work you really put into different aspects or classes of the game to make sure anything created comes out the absolute best to you and your teams power to deliver to the community. It's admirable and hope you create the ultimate McDoubles private server some day.

thank you for saying that stuff at the start of the vid. was planning of abandoning this server completely and never returning cause it is way too easy and goofy. now i atleast know that its ascension classless' problem and not coa and that you're aware of it and even planning to get rid of it or at the very least ease it in until release.

Just as a suggestion for the speed at which things die, could you hypothetically make different difficulty settings (kind of like the different Diablo difficulties) and then add a small xp/loot drop increase for players that want the harder difficulties while leveling.

Feels like this game does not exist, it is not fun anymore to watch previews about it... if the big games release before this, such as PoE2, I will not look back to CoA honestly

4 years in Alpha. It starts to hurt the project's reputation...I say it with good intentions, release it already. You're not making the next AAA game. This is still a private server/WoW mod.

I like inquisition, I'm not a fan of auto attacks I prefer doing damage on button press myself, but the stance dance makes me happy and the theme is on point tbh

What is the point of creating 4 specs where 3 of them are dps? Feels like an overkill.

you could also check out the Synastria server, its basically wotlk with instant 80, build-defining perks which are similar to RE's on ascension, coupled with item attuning to basically start as a nooby, and become a god. Quite fun, and they also have some additional features there which would cork very well on CoA as well. Think you havnt covered that server yet

I like the rng gear loot. I feel the enemy die a decent speed at level 10.

I still feel like a class should use something from every spec. Like maybe a talent in the class tree that makes your melee ability empower a list of abilities from all specs, or something from the musket book that the melee spec can use

Love CoA and played a ton of it. Personally I cant get into Wtich Hunter because how they hold the crossbow and cast. The animations are just off imo.

Hi I have been watching you for some time now. here is an idea, make a new game. feels like you are putting so much in an old game with not lots of consumers. For me myself I would start playing a new game but I don’t want to go back to WOW. There is only so much you can do in the same game. Lots of love tho

Only reason why I am not gonna play CoA (even tho I bought alpha access) is because it is too easy and fast. I really wanna be excited about getting white quality item or being able to make 1 rank better healing potions after collecting flowers like a mad man. If I could choose I would even remove all dungeons and battlegrounds from the game and turn the world to be main character again. Flypoints also should cost alot gold etc. Make things matter instead of dungeon grind fest.

doubs anyway u can turn the hell hounds into banchies? idk why just thing the witch hunter would have some witch like souls they captured and could use. maybe its a stupid idea but once I saw the hell hounds I was like hmmm

it feels very strange from design choice. i would give the witch hunter the focus or energy resource and give it leather armor instead of mail. or, for better flavour, just cloth armor with agi stats if devs are planning to create custom items looks fun on paper, but the fantasy is a bit off

Long comment: My thoughts about how to encourage world participation during play. You can keep the leveling up speed the same for ascension. That's fine. Alter the world to scale with level and have some areas have 80% difficulty and others 120% difficulty based on level. Then incorporate 'Area Points'. These in conjunction with reputation can be used to access new moves. So, everyone could technically get every move in the game. Also, remove factions as a baseline. What I mean is this: You complete a quest in Dun Murogh, you get +100rep for Alliance and -125rep for horde. Then, you'll have access to certain cities based upon your reputation. And then within those cities, you need a certain reputation to interact with the vendors. So, you're relatively neutral with Alliance and Horde? You have access to the Goblin cities. But to access, say, the auctioneer in booty bay, you need 5000 STV points, because it shows that you've contributed to Booty Bay in some way. You want access to SW? You'd better be at least honored with the Alliance. And so, in this way, if you separate all the moves out to trainers around the world, and those trainers require certain rep and AP (area points), then you'd be effectively forcing the players to utilize the entire world. And you can have super powerful moves that are very specifically geared towards a certain race to require not only alliance or horde rep, but lots and lots of AP as well. This way players can specialize towards a certain build type. And, if a player is patient enough, they can unlock EVERY move by maxing out Alliance and Alliance AP, then converting to Horde and lowering their Alliance rep and raising Horde rep... and then imagine the achievements you could earn during this process? So, it's still free pick. It's still fast leveling. But acquiring the moves you want for the build you want will take a lot of time and effort and a LOT of world questing. You could even have certain moves and areas available only to those who have reached, say, Revered with both Alliance AND Horde, but, they have to be back at neutral to learn the moves or access the areas. And this flip-flop can be done as many times as you'd like.

Is CoA even worthy? I mean the population. Right now elune and area 52 feel kinda staring (dead) and want to know if there are players on CoA.

I love a good auto attack class in WoW. Classic Paladin with it's seals and judgement make it really tactical. I like that it has great burst damage but coming out of a long battle against a group of mobs because of your survivability is an awesome feeling

Everything looks cool but there are some major flaws imo, in the history of every wow expansion, and private servers, a passive like blackpowder, where new stacks do not refresh its duration, has never felt good. There has not been a single instance where an ability like that has felt anything but frustrating. I'm really looking forward to witch hunter, especially darkness but I don't see it being fun in its current iteration

Not sure I like the Witch Hunter name, but pretty much everything else seems cool. Seems similar to the Order of Ember in Drustvar in BfA. Hope the Black Knight spec gets a 'Knighthood' passive if it doesn't have it already.

I tried the witch hunter about a year or so ago and it wasnt for me (im a ranger/monk guy) but the black knight looked promising. And im glad u took away those double crossbow things, I always thought they didnt fit the game cuz of the animations and them literally being daggers

No offence but I don't understand your obsession with PvP Mcdoubles. PvP in gaming has been will always be an toxic mess. That always bring the worst out in the people who participated in it . Frankly it shouldn't exist in MMOs. In my opinion if really feel the need to PvP then go play a MOBA or maybe a FPS game. Atleast those type of game are designed for PvP unlike MMOs which have been PvE games first with the PvP content added on them as an extra feature.
