i've seen ads for witchcraft in local papers in peru. the services are usually: make someone fall in love with you, or make an enemy suffer. i was pretty shocked by the childishness and pettiness of it. enough people want to throw a supernatural tantrum that its a business.

It's not that simple. People in different parts of the world are living in their own realities. It is a reality none the less and what seems outlandish to us is very very real to them. For example; I was chatting to my cousin back home who is in politics. Holds no position but trying to get into office. Our mutual relatives tried to poison him last year. He made a narrow escape because he barely sipped the drink he was offered. He was at deaths door but survived only to be followed by rumors that he had some entities protecting him. Jins. They successfully did away with his campaign manager in 2022. His uncle was successful before him and he performed human sacrifices. Now all this sounds ridiculous in this day and age over some micro political position in Timbuktu but it is all very real there. I realized during the conversation that we were living in different worlds literally. People are living through hell right here on earth. If you find yourself in that scenario, any hope offered is still hope. Your lover has left you in abject poverty and no where to turn? I for sure would try all the options available. Feasible or not. I just want to thank the universe for putting me where I am. I know a lot of people deserve to be here too but are not.

Agreed. But in the end it goes back to them and happens to them next. Decide for someone else by universal law someone can decide for them next. Cheat them they'll be cheated steal from someone they'll be stolen from. It's quite silly it's why everyone was told to not touch the forbidden it can backfire they get extremely vengeful and spiteful then it ends eating them from the inside out abusing power. quite the opposite. You let go and let the spirits do the work. Christians leave it up to God. New Agers leave it up to the Universe. All magic of this sort has the function to discharge the grudge, so that you leave it to a 3rd party and then you can go on with your life, knowing that justice will be administered, one way or the other. The only difference with black magic is that it's more theatrical... but then again, aren't most court hearings little theaters in themselves? Don't kid yourself)

@@melancholicravenn mainline christianism usually doesn't go well with buying godly favors or that it would work to do so. well I guess catholics tho... incidentally all this black magic stuff is way more common in catholic countries. like bolivia, mexico, philippines... the saints system paves the way for it as is that the sacraments being mandatory, like last rites, it instills an idea that magic tricks do actually work. more protestant, like more northern lutheritans are more in the boat that god (if exists at all) doesn't need these rituals and the rituals are just done for purposes of the people, not that they would have actual effects.

Well, it is clear that this gentleman is way ahead of the competition and is making headway in his chosen career which means he will reach heady heights as time goes on and his head collection grows.
