Setting up a separate bank account and starting to set the money aside in advance will give you a good idea if you can afford the amount! Also, implementing Profit First in general will definitely give you a clearer picture of your financial standing. This is something we can also help further with in our program Adventure to Profit. :)

People wonder why we are running behind on sending out orders. Why do we need to bring in some good talent and are now employing 4 part time workers to assist. Last year we sold 116,643 packages of seed. Those were packaged by just the two of us. This year so far, our sales are at $ 33,440.84. Mind you that includes taxes and shipping, but wow. That little shoe lace just turned us into a major competitor. Thank you, without you we wouldn't be where we are today. DollarSeed

I really need to hire people. I have a business that has extreme potential for growth but I have no idea how to go about hiring the right people. I cant guarantee hourly or work everyday at this moment. I'm just not sure what to do or how to go about it the right way. I know I can bring in a lot more jobs if I had more time.

It’s hard to say without knowing what industry you are in or what you do, but you could start with independent contractors.

It's hard to know without knowing what your business does, but start looking at the little administrative tasks that you could hand off to someone else. You may not need a full blown employee right away, but could start with a virtual assistant.

Seasonal rental business here (5 months). I am a one man show and have been able to handle my workload. Fortunately next year we are looking at atleast tripling our business due to a few lucky breaks but will need a second member. Should I hire commission based 1099 or W2. Limited info but curious

Okay I see. You probably should check with an accountant on 1099 vs. W2, but if it is only for a few months and not full time work, that might just be a 1099. Regulations vary from state to state as well.

@MatterhornBusinessDevelopment Great video! I used it as inspiration for one of my newsletters. For those watching, I would encourage you to take hiring costs (recruitment fees, training, etc.) and expenses above and beyond wages (insurance, retirement , etc.) when making a plan for saving.

Quit hiring part time employees 😒 your not saving money by them quitting and your business shut down early nobody wants to be a part time employee why I work a part time job and apply to ten thousand jobs at least Sam's gives you a chance
