I just picked up a set of the 2023 Adams irons with UST Helium graphite shafts for $225.00! They look awesome and can't wait to get to the simulator. My handicap has been between 7-12 for the last 10 years. I still play Adams A7os hybrids (3-5) I hit them high and long which is what I need. I have tried all the major brand hybrids, but they are so light I can't control them. I love how the Adams land soft on the green. The new clubs look great and have a TaylorMade flavor to them while keeping the Adam's traditional look. I have heard great things about the new Adams driver. I also love the AG logo. I hope these clubs perform as well as the old Adams clubs did.

Adams was still putting out good stuff after 2012. I’m still using a set of XTD A Tour irons that Ernie Els helped design. They came out in 2014 and I found a set of new old stock a couple years ago and they’re awesome.

New to your channel. I appreciate your on course review. I personally, purchased the DTC infomercial, Adams 2021 5 wood, 4 and 5 hybrids. By far some of the best, most consistent clubs I've played. I originally only purchased because of nostalgia, and figured to play around with them. But they are really good clubs. The lofts of the Hybrids of that generation are weaker, so they end up being a direct replacement for my 4 and 5 irons. As far as the newer Adams clubs go. I'm very interested in upgrading my Driver or 3 wood when they start to offer customized shafts. Also I might be giving those Wedges a strong try. I'll be watching for your review of those. Thank you for sharing this with us. I'll be subscribing. Keep up the great work.

Thanks a lot Greg! The new Adams hybrids aren’t crazy strong by any means, so you might really enjoy them! The driver and fairways are also impressive imo; And while I haven’t gotten a review done of the wedges, I’d compare them to the Cleveland CBX ZipCore if you’ve ever hit those 👍

I have hit the Zip core. But like the new Mizuno's more. I also have hit the Tour edge cavity back wedges. Super forgiving. I was hoping the new Adams wedges will be like those. As my Gaps from my irons would allow me to now play a 54 and 58 instead of the old standards. With a 60 day trial that Adams offers. Those wedges might be in the cart as soon as I see some more reviews on them. Thanks for the reply.

I just discovered your channel. I like your presentation, and you are a good player -- so I have more confidence that your strikes will result in a good evaluation. I hope that you will be able to add shot tracer and monitor results in the future, even though I realize maybe the equipment investment may be pricy when your are starting out. Anyway, subscribed.

With this one I just wanted to focus on my initial reactions of how the equipment performed, thus why no data. - I totally agree on the tracer though, I’m trying to figure out how to add it and hopefully will have one at some point here down the road 👍

Nice review. Have you used the irons and wedges yet? Seem to fall between p790 and stealth and would love a review

Yes, I have tested both and agree they sit sort of in between Stealth and 790, but lean closer to Stealth imo. To be honest, I think the irons actually look very solid, just not something I would play personally. They also feature a tri-sole which is pretty neat. - Wedges are nice for a beginner or someone who needs a bit more for forgiveness in the sole and CG placement (think CBX ZipCore). That being said, I found them to have pretty high bounce and wouldn’t work so well for my game; But I do give Adams credit for adding relief to the sole on heel, toe and trialing edge. - Unfortunately, they stayed down in Florida so I can’t get them reviewed, but hopefully that helps answer a couple of your questions/thoughts 👍

I play adams gt2 irons from 2004. Absolutely love them, but have been wanting to upgrade, might give these new adams irons a shot

If you don’t like the glossy finish just take some super fine scotch bright and turn it into a dull matte finish in seconds……

4 hybrid has never been a replacement for 4 iron , 4 hybrids go significantly longer than 4 irons 😂

That can be the case for faster players, but, for slower speeds, hybrids can allow a player to get just enough speed, launch and spin to replace a 4i; And keep proper gapping between longest iron and next hybrid/first wood 👍
