My wife continues her quest to learn the tractors. I am so proud of her, but her fearlessness can get her into trouble. See how this turns out.

Tanja did awesome with the mulcher! 👏👏👏👏👏👏 Looks great! You're a good teacher Tony! She deserves an "A" on her report card. 😊 I have an idea for you I'd like to share: Have you ever considered getting one of those roll out mats for the side by side? You've probably seen them, you put stuff like the wood chips or dirt on it and turn a crank and it rolls out of the back. It might make unloading and dumping things easier out of the bed. It's like a conveyor belt for your bed. I think it would make a cool addition to the "tool chest" Thanks for sharing guys, God bless you!

There is nothing I have more admiration for than a couple teaching and letting them go after the work. Partnership is the way I look at it. HAVING never been married now - so take that for what it is worth. Works both ways now. Men should know how to do the minimum at least of ALL house work. You know just in case someone goes on a strike, don't want the other to starve to death.

Tony's photography is a bit different from Tanja's. Maybe he's more willing to get to places she wouldn't. In this episode it was fun watching Tanja getting the work done, and Tony showing what she was accomplishing. Looks good, you two.

Somebody needs to design a chipper with a removable intake that would fit over the exhaust side. Make it super compact and protect the exhaust chute as well. I thought of this when you were using the grapple with it on the back, that intake sticks WAY out there compared to its base.

@TonysTractorAdventure might be an idea that you could bring up with some companies to look into. It shouldn't be too hard to do unless I'm missing something in the design.

In the real world, trees are not shaped perfect. All brands have the same issue. We also, have learned to work with it better. I would blame me more than the chipper. Little tricks we learn.

Im not saying they can't butttt more women started driving tractors when HST became available. Toss in that third pedal, range, shifter, shuttle, and things begin to change on who wants to drive the tractor today.

@TonysTractorAdventure 27 күн бұрын
I talk with 1000 people each week through comments. Men are by far still the biggest tractor buyer but they are first-time buyers. Men overwhelmingly buy hydrostatic 9 to 1. Most people didn't grow up on a farm. Different times.
@kmb957
@kmb957 27 күн бұрын
@@TonysTractorAdventure I'll agree with that. When I bought my DK4520, I asked the salesman why so many people buy HST tractors over geared today. He flat out said, "most new tractor owners can't drive a manual and they also want something easy for their wives to use". I won't part ways with my geared tractor. If anything, I'll go bigger and get a power shuttle that has a wet clutch. That would be perfect.
