Recommendation for you and anyone else that may see this. When you come across a large assortment of items you need to look up (those cameras for example), put EVERYTHING in your cart, go to a corner and look them all up. Sort them into piles (one pile for items that are keepers, one pile for items that are put backs). Your video really made my anxiety go through the roof. I was waiting for someone to come by and swipe everything from you.

I think it's a little rude to do that, to be honest. Estate sale companies in particular ban this kind of behavior. When you put everything in your cart-without intending to buy it-you're taking those items away from everyone else. I personally would call you a scumbag, if I saw someone hoarding their cart with the sole purpose of doing the SUPER hard task of scanning a barcode.

@@chrisbranham3693 there is one really aggressive resaler where I live that will wait every single day right by the video game shelf for them to put the stuff out- they only put the games out once a day a few minutes after they open. She literally stands right in front of the shelf until the staff come to stock it, she then dumps every single new game into her cart. She gets real aggressive if someone says something. The staff allow it for some reason. Then she dumps everything she doesn't want around the store in random places. That is rude.

I love how you break down and show all the cost. Not all the other pickers do that so it makes them like much more "glamourous". But I like the nitty gritty of the real money math myself.

Everyone on ebay seems to have sick goodwill joints. I have 1 that is not insane. But it's starting to price games like they are on ebay.

I have a Goodwill that prices things very high. But I still don't get discouraged because I have scored amazing things. Even tho 80% I don't buy from that particular store. I still check it out from time to time because it is still possible to score. The Key is being consistent. Because they always show us their amazing scores but never show us the videos when they don't score anything.

Fun to watch! You have given me so much information that I wasn’t aware of! I’ve been a queen of purging and tossing things that I was just getting rid of. I had no idea most of my trash was worth money and I could have a least donated it so someone that could make some money or just enjoy it. Thanks 💕💕💕

Thank you for breaking down the cost! I feel like many youtube are skipping this critical step (eg just showing their eBay store sold number, $200k sold does not equal $200k in the bank). I especially get irritated when KZfaq sellers don’t subtract their entire unsold inventory from their profits, it’s money sitting in your house, not in the bank!

jealous of the $7 anbernic!! 100% would be coming home with my 11 year old daughter and I heck even at $20! subbed to the channel too! I miss hunting 7 days a week but do not miss the listing/shipping. the research/learning/making money is fun at least!

olympus om1 is one of the best cameras of that era! nice finds. Hope you checked all that camera stuff carefully. One rare lens can be worth hundreds or thousands

I bought an iMac keyboard(Bondi Blue) for $8.00, I am using it now, it was purchased about two years ago at our former Goodwill(it left last August). Try Salvation Army, they sell electronics, too. Tag(garage) sales, flea markets, used electronics(be careful on this one).

I wish Goodwill and Salvation Army in my area had camera gear that’s worth it, but that’s why I go to other thrift stores in my area or Central Jersey/Philly Area. I would’ve called it a day with the Pentax lens, the Olympus OM-1, the macro viewfinder, and the Sony RX100.

Living in San Diego the weather doesn't really come in to play when it comes to garage sales etc. When the weather gets down in to the 60's the garage sales slow down. If it happens to rain I don't go out. LOL. Don't know what I would do if it snowed.

Hey Dustin, love the picks! Question for you... Do you test the functionality of the recording features of DVD recorders before selling them? Seems like a challenging thing to test.

I've never had a dvd recorder that plays a DVD not work as a recorder. So, that's how I typically test them by just playing a dvd and a VHS if it has that side.

Nice pickups. I use a 12mp smartphone for taking pictures for eBay. I'm going to be on the lookout for a 20mp camera . How many megapixels is enough for eBay pictures, is there such a thing as too good of a picture for eBay?

My wife and I use our Galaxy S8+ phone cameras just because it's quick and easy. I think as long as it looks decent and is on a white background showing any wear to the item, you're fine.

So when you opened the box to inspect the Sony camera you did you see the extra one in there? Was the price $19.99 for the both of them? Or did goodwill make a mistake?

The box itself was marked. The second camera happened to be in it. It's probably how it was donated. This happened a year ago so that's all I really remember of it.

I’m so glad I live in Florida 😂 I used to live in Elkhart Indiana my daughter was actually born there! So was my step dad and 2 nephews! I don’t miss the snow ever! I remember trying to get my cart through that snow mess yuck! Dustin you had some awesome pick ups for sure! I know you’re happy!
