The fact that the end of the trailer is the statue of Vi and Jinx in the season 1 intro is crazy! "Jinx" "Finally got the name right, Sister." Oh my god, this gon be goood!

If the opening scene is Vi and Cait walking through the wreckage of the council, and we get a shot of Cait seeing her mother and silently breaking down while Vi hugs her, just like Vi and Jinx in the season 1 opening, I swear...!

What really REALLY caught me off guard was the mural of Jinx. She's a freaking symbol now, I can't believe that. I really wonder how the power dynamics are gonna be handled in Zaun now with Silco gone, there's Sevika and Silco's followers still on the loose and I can't wait what they'll do with Ekko and Heimerdinger. Warwick looks INCREDIBLE, gonna be such a presence. It really feels like a war, so much chaos. PEAK FICTION IS COMING BACK!

I'm holding out the smallest amount of hope that Mel is alive with the "your council is dead." line. To me, it sounds like Mel's mom talking to her. Still, I'm scared for her.

One of the showrunners posted on Twitter that this is the ending they started the story in mind with, but they are actively working on more future projects with the animation studio, so this may be the end of Arcane, but definitely not the end of stories in this world.

Ever since seeing the end of episode 9, I've had some theories: Jayce and Viktor would be the only guaranteed survivors out of the council; Caitlyn's hextech rifle lends credence to it. I'm imagining Viktor will be left in a critical condition by the missle and will be converted into a cyborg like he is in the game. Maybe Jayce does it with the hexcore, as he refuses to lose anyone else. With Silco dead, the different factions start fighting for control of Zaun. Ultimately, they all rally against Piltover. Caitlyn's behaviour in the trailer suggests that, like we expected, Cassandra dies, and her daughter is out for blood. Vi will no doubt be very conflicted over putting on an enforcer uniform. I'm imagining characters like Ekko will consider her a traitor for it.

You're correct about the drawing of Silco, he's upside down. Also, the broken pillar that Jinx is standing on in that room is a depiction of the monkey bomb. She's drawn the moment everything changed, and that's the pillar she decided to stand on. "Pow" indeed.

Dude the fight between Jinx and VI is both going to be heartbreaking and incredible at the same time. Season 2 is going to be Legendary!

Loved this teaser, the last bit with vi calling powder jinx, then jinx saying she got the name right then the last show gave me chills! November just can’t come fast enough for me! I have to do a rewatch of this in October time after Heartstopper season 3 comes out.

The Firelights are probably the most advanced users of Chem Tech (the green stuff) but it's a common tech across Zaun. The lights in many scenes in the Underground in season one had that same green tint, and the former Chem Baron Yordle's gear here does as well. So the guys in power armor crashing in may just be next-gen Shimmer shock troops.

I want to quickly talk about Vi joining the Enforcers and how this will be very useful to the story. Because I see a lot of people upset about this matter, and I don’t know why? They don't even have a convincing reason, so I will just clarify the matter, and I hope you understand it because it will be an important and inevitable matter in the coming season. These people should take it more logically, not emotionally. The first and most important thing if Vi joins them is not necessarily that she wants to or that she would like it, but for the sake of her sister in order to protect her from the people who will seek to kill her from Piltover, including Caitlyn of course. If she joined them, she would have more chances to know their plans and what they would do if they wanted to attack Zaun. Vi will also be able to help Ekko and his group during the war when Piltover decides to attack Zaun. This is inevitable, of course, in Season 2. So I hope you'll think about my words and theories a little and apply them to Vi's character. Is it possible that Vi will leave her sister and join the Enforcers in order to simply kill Jinx and forget everything she did for her, or will she try to take advantage of this opportunity and try to save her? And also Ekko, won't Vi help him in this war and protect him? If there's one thing Vi excels above the rest of the characters, it's sacrificing herself and her own reconciliation in order to protect the people she loves. "Vi does the things she hates to protect the people she loves"

My favorite part of the Arcane design for Vi is including elements of her in-game design like the shoulder pads and the little pink skirt ruffles sticking out of her uniform. I know it's super minor, but I'm glad they included little things like that in her Enforcer uniform.

2:30 possible spoilers, but to clarify, in League of Legends canon (admittedly they've changed some things up so far for Arcane, so I'm not saying this is how the show's going to handle it) Vi is never actually an Enforcer. Her champion title *in the game* is The Piltover Enforcer, which is apprently as far as most people got before getting mad, but contextually it's more of an insult than a title. Vi doesn't become a member of Piltover's law enforcement in canon until after Caitlyn becomes sheriff. Note that I use the term law enforcement because in League canon, Caitlyn's first act as sheriff, basically as she's being inaugurated, is to dismantle the Enforcers. Caitlyn completely overhauls and reforms Piltover's law enforcement, with Vi acting as her partner and first recruit in the Wardens. Which is why calling Vi an Enforcer in universe is more of an insult than anything, it underminings the work that she's doing and forces an oppressor's title on one of their victims for having the audacity to take a stand and try to make sure it doesn't happen again. It's also important to note that by the point of Leauge canon, Piltover and Zaun/The Lanes are two completely seperate political entities. The Wardens are Caitlyn (and Vi)'s attempt to prevent things like the events in Arcane from happening again in Piltover, though Zaun isn't even in their jurisdiction anymore to try to help.

The armored men we see crashing through the glass roof are NOT Firelights. They are called Chemtank Brutes (I think), and they are the same kind of people that Jayce and Vi fought against in the Shimmer factory in S1E8. It's true that green hues are typically associated with the Firelights, but here, it is just due to their blades being green, same color that they were in season 1.

The fact that Vi is Mosco's favorite character and Caitlin is Elijah's makes all the sense.

I actually doubt the chem-tanks are using Firelight technology - While green is absolutely the main color of the Firelights it’s also the main color for Chemtech just in general; plus the chem-tanks we saw in season 1 had similar green trails as the ones here do.

The gremlin looking guy with the tophat was one of the Chem Barons on Silco's council, I doubt he would have worked with Jinx but he'd definately be on Caitlyn's hitlist for people considered still loyal to silco, as for the giant head, I theorize that Jinx for some people has been given god-like status with these shrines and wall paintings made in tribute to her due to her standing up for the underground when people like Silco exploited them and Vander wouldnt fight for them, she doesnt exploit them and she does fight for them with no punches-pulled which is possibly a factor that the firelights would get behind.

Beyond Arcane, I can see a bunch of self contained 2 season or more arcs focusing on different countries within Runeterra as Piltover and Zaun are only a part of one region. The heavy Presence Noxus has in Arcane makes me think maybe an arc set in Ionia could happen as that nation and Noxus have hefty history, plus Ionia has some cool champions that could shine in various ways. I feel Noxus on the warpath is what gets Caitlyn going to set up a small team to go remove the aggressors in Zaun, her team against the clock before war chaos breaks out. Only my theorizing though. Excited for November to see what happens!

I don't think those are firelights. I think those are those mech suits from the shimmer factory. So those are most likely Silco/Jinx/Sevika's people (whoever ends up in charge after Silco)

I'm sure many people have posted this, but my understanding is this is the end of the Piltover story... and they will do projects in other areas... but there was a suggestion we would see these characters return later on.

from what news and leaks I've heard is that Vseason two is going to have three time skips, VI is gonna be an enforcer at first but crazy into it, then a pit fighter then back as enforcer but all in. Everyone is basically gonna be in a place or space the opposite of where they were in season one. So I think Ekko is gonna wanna join Heimerdinger and make the world a better place instead of making a safe space for just his own. Heinerdinger, with Ekko's simple and heartfelt insight, will definitely be more focused on the people science us supposed to help, nit science for the sake of it. Jace didn't want war but now will crave it, Victor fears his tech and laments the mistakes he made but he could double down thanks to the influence of the hexcore and Jace's betrayal. Cait was against the corruption of Piltover but Kay pivot hard to a more militaristic approach after the death of her mother, causing her to lose that humanity. VI will learn to gate Jinx while Jinx will only ever again think of Vi so Jinx won't even be interested in the war or if she is then it's by the ghostly guidance of Silco. Vander who fought to protect his family and Zaun after realizing the errors if his ways will be stripped of hus mind and humanity and attempt to kill Vi and Jinx as Warrick.

I hope they go to Demacia in a series.

I think they are already on the works on the next league of legends story and we might see it at the end of the year or next year for a teaser after vi and jinx chapter... Maybe after 10 years since arcane 1 we might get an avenger type film

Yes. This season will wrap up the Jinx/Vi, Piltover/Zhaun, story arch. Mel is perished. But that was necessary from a storyline perspective. Her death opens us up to the rest of Runterra, specifically Noxus. This will be the jumping point for the rest of the world. I always knew Mel would die for just this reason. Same with Caitlyn's mother. How else would Caitlyn and Vi, become Enforcers as they are in the game. A little surprised that Jace would be among the dead. Figured he would live to create Caitlyn's three scoped rifle and a new gauntlet for Vi. Guess I was wrong about that part.

Okay, here is a random Vi and Caitlyn prediction based on absolutely no evidence except parallels to season 1... After episode 3, they actually have something of a falling out, and then there is a small timeskip where they've both been having a hard time being separated Until around episode 4 or 5 perhaps, when Vi comes across a clue to something shady happening and a new mystery that needs solving is introduced... but this time it's in Piltover. Vi wants to follow the clues but does not have access to the places and people she needs to reach, so she goes to Caitlyn for help, and Cait needs to give Vi a tour of the fanciest parts of topside just like Vi gave her of the undercity in season 1. "Here's who to talk to, here's how to dress, here's how to act" and so on Maybe they even attend some sort of fancy ballroom dance together and we get Cait in a dress and Vi in an expensive suit????

He also made VI's new gauntlets. The person in the cloak is Viktor, the evolved version. The giant statue is the face of a Chem Baron, she appears in the room with Silico in Season 1. The runes on Cait's rifle are acceleration gate technology, the same thing the ships use in Season 1. Now here is a spoiler that will get you hype. Arcane is supposed to introduce 11 Champions from League of Legends lore. So far we have seen 10, which means there is one that hasn't been shown or hinted at yet. There is a chance it is Janna since her picture is in this teaser, but I don't think that is what they meant. Orianna is Singed Daughter in the locket he keeps playing with.
