I never understood why Henry didn't just marry Mary Boleyn so his son with her would be legitimate as his heir? Why go through all the trouble of marrying woman after woman just to produce another son? Especially since it didn't change anything in the end lol, the Tudor dynasty ended after Elizabeth. Great video, one of the best I've seen about the Tudors!

Thanks :) To answer your questions...1. Mary was already married and had been mistress to the King of France, which made her a "whore", not at all eligible to become queen 2. Mary's son was likely her husband's not Henry's (otherwise he would have recognized the child as his own and put him in the succession line, like he did with his bastard son, Henry Fitzroy).

There's no proof or certainty that Mary Boleyn's son was Henry's son. Even the timing of their "affair" or how long it lasted is in doubt. Don't rely on any novel by Phillipa Gregory or movie or tv series based on that novel.

Στην αρχή σκέφτηκα αυτό το αστείο, τότε σκέφτηκα ότι ήταν κάποιο είδος παιχνιδιού και τώρα δεν μπορώ να πιστέψω ότι είναι πραγματικότητα. Με ξυπνήσατε με τέτοια συναισθήματα, για τα οποία δεν πίστευα καν ότι υπάρχουν. Είναι δύσκολο να περιγραφεί με λόγια. Είναι δύσκολο να πιστέψεις στο μυαλό μου, αλλά η ψυχή μου σπάει.
