If these ppl are such bad ass fishermen, they should invest the money for all the video gear and start their own KZfaq channel!! I've caught many larger fish but so what! I really enjoy watching Nick and his enthusiasm. I love that he goes to these places that are hidden away and gets so excited! I watch his channel more than any other one. If I know something helpful I share it. I'm not trying to bash people I try to be helpful. Simple tips 3 casts per spot and when doing 3 casts per spot use fast medium and slow retrieves. That way you see what retrieve fish will respond best to. Doing this you covor more water. If I see active fish in an area I'll stay there for like 10 to 15 minutes if no luck I move.

Clicker is used as a bait feed method. Leaves reel in free spool enough pressure wind tide swell won't pull line. Fish bites or runs you hear the reel spooling put. Beginning fishermen cast with it on because they can't cast a conventional reel without back lash "birds nesting." Even worse fisherman cast reel and fight the fish with the clicker on. This dude knows that. He did for the comedy. Or for you to ask that question. 🤙

@@southernstate_fishing6420 He didn't catch the stat record. Someone beat him to it. He deliberately plaster STATE RECORD in all caps as a click baity draw. He makes good videos but I'm getting tired of seeing STATE RECORD and PB in all caps every other video only to find a somewhat misleading video under it. If you're suggesting I unfollow Maybe you're right. I hope 618 is grateful for your help.

Rana King what are you guys talking about?!?! That was his pb shortnose gar! And the previous record was 5.1 and he caught a 5.8! But it was broken recently though so this video was more than correct!

The amount of views this video has versus the amount of subscribers your channel has is disappointing. You make great content. Always happy when you land one even if it breaks off. Keep them coming tight lines forever brotha! If your ever in oklahoma hit me up and we"ll get you on these monster cats we have lurking

Different type of gar. You mean an alligator gar. They get huge. It makes me wanna cry when he puts them back. I don't care about your gear, I know how to fish, I wanna know where...

My grandfather always told me the best bait to use is worms and what you find in the water at the spot your fishing because the bigger fish (usually he was referring to channel cat or small mouth because those were what he would look forward to going for) are used to eating and they know it’s safe. He was a natural bait kinda guy and never liked using to many plastics.

CAPTAINPRICE79 Visit Florida, snakes are everywhere. Black racers are the most common, like squirrels in a public park.

They’re very common here in East, TN....especially this past fall. I had to get a huge black snake out of my sliding glass door. We have a very popular fishing location where you’re just as likely to catch a snake as a fish and it’s near the trout hatchery lol
