I am a trauma coach and have been postponing trying to build a following and get clients on YT; I am afraid bc I am 'older (55) than all these younger influencers and I am a generally shy person'. 12:25 was fire! I am going to make myself do this even if it is immensely uncomfortable.

Hey man love your content , your videos helped me a lot , I was inspired by one of your videos where you challenged a person to talk to camera for 30 days , back in November I started my KZfaq channel nd started a challenge called 30 days 30 videos to gain some camera confidence nd today is day 20 of that challenge , thank you man for helping indirectly ❤❤

I’ve tried a few times to record myself talking on camera but I get very nervous with other people in the house(which is all the time) even when I’m 100% sure they couldn’t possibly hear me, when I try to speak I end up whisper talking and just get really really quiet and I have no idea how to get past this

Do you ever get nervous talking on your front camera, because that happens to me. I get so hyper focus on what I look like and it makes me nervous. But, when I can’t see myself I perfectly fine . Thomas do you have any tips for this?

In your case I'd simply set up the shot (so that you're in frame etc) and then turn the screen away from yourself so you can't see yourself. Simply but could help. Your nervousness is also a symptom perhaps of lack of experience talking on camera or not knowing how to control your state/energy, like Neil learned how to do better here!
