Күн бұрынI DID IT! I completed my FIRST ever triathlon after 8 months of training in 11:55;08!
What a journey it has been, so much self doubt, so many struggles but also so many things I've learned about myself. Being able to trust yourself when you make yourself a promise is what I call self confidence. When I jumped in the pool the first time I thought how in the world am I going to swim 3.8km...After all I'm so happy that I accepted to struggle in the beginning, trying over and over...But eventually seeing the progess you can make in only 8 months is CRAZY! As long as you're willing to work for it and stay consistent with it you can achieve it.
Make sure to challenge yourself, do hard things, prove yourself right, you can honestly do so much more than you think you can! YOU GOT THIS

Rutger, you are A FREAKING IRONMAN. Beyond proud of you!!! Not gonna lie, I did tear up watching this, especially with your dad's message. I still remember that post where you had that brick session that did not go as planned and your energy dropped a lot. It was part of the journey. Doing mine in April 2025💪🏽 T100 in London 2 mos after, then will do MDS Legendary in 2026 have not posted on YT yet more on IG. Cos it's not easy to juggle this, with 2 office jobs, and 2 businesses. I dunno how we are all still alive, but eeeyyyy!!!! 💪🏽 CONGRATS, MAN! 🎉

1:16 regular job? 2:34 after work? All this time I thought you weren’t working when you were training. Damn now there’s no excuse for me, eh? Getting my first VO2 max testing done on the 15th. So we’ll see how things will go for me.

Yeah at that time I had one, however now I want to pursue my dream of making more content about these challenges, so I quit the job to go all in and hopefully this KZfaq journey (which is really fulfilling) will workout hahaha
