I contacted K Seal about my engine failure and they replied! After trying K-Seal in my 1975 Jaguar XJ6 the results were first great but after about 6 weeks it failed again. I decided to contact K-Seal by emailing them to see how they would respond to my experience.

Used K-Seal many times for a radiator leak that other products couldn't deal with. Worked perfectly for a week or so, but the leak always returned. Didn't know about the free bottle guarantee! Superb product as a quick/temperary fix.

Hi Adam, I think that you wrote that email very well and K-Seal should get plaudits for their response. It's probably worth having a bottle as a get out of jail card.

Now that’s customer service! Also, being the consumer you did exactly what should be done for proper resolution of this issue. Kudos to both parties. Might I add, I have an 86 xjs, the motor froze due to incomplete restoration due to health issues. I seriously considered doing the 350 swap but after reviewing your videos I’ve decided to put a V12 back in. Thank you!

I've used K Seal on 2 vehicles. One, my 95 Lincoln Town Car, I don't know where the leak was, but been a few years and still holding. This car only has an overflow bottle and I did not think much about it, put it in as directed, and it worked. Second vehicle, 2001 Ford Ranger 3.0L, had a radiator leak and timing cover gasket leak. Sadly I made the mistake of putting it in the overflow bottle thinking it would draw it in as needed, however, it 100% clogged the overflow bottle. While the instructions didn't say not to put it in the overflow bottle (it said it may take longer), I chalked it up to my mistake, should have put it in the radiator since the truck has a rad cap, but was just trying to repeat what worked in the Lincoln. At any rate, I decided not to waste anymore money (already wasted money on K-Seal I had to flush out of the overflow bottle), and just put in a new radiator and replaced the timing cover gasket, water pump, and a few other things while in there. That said, it worked in the Lincoln and still holding a few years later.

This was nice! I'm a mom with 3 kids, and the end almost made me cry. I'm glad there are some good people still in this world. This video gives me hope. Thanks for the info here. I'm afraid to, but I'm going to try it in my Jeep.

It's always good to find a company who care about their customers. A little service goes a long way. Not too common these days unfortunately. Good man Jeff. This has been a really uplifting video. Nice to see , I’ve used K-seal on a 350 Chevy and it did work. Lasted a couple months of driving. I then did overhaul that tired motor. Keep it up Adam always enjoy your content.

Good support is so rare these days, so kudos to K-Seal! I am in the process of replacing the 2 fuel lines from rear to front of my XJ40. They were rotten and not safe anymore. Then, the car will live a happy life until the winter. Then it will sleep for a few months!

Great job Adam of not only giving credit to K-Seal for the excellent customer service but for also understanding that sometimes problems are beyond simple fixes. So many go off on rants about how terrible a product is when they either used the product incorrectly or in a situation where the issue was too significant for the product to have helped. Of course, these folks always blame everyone under the sun when the truth is they didn't read the label, follow the directions or understand the possible complicating factors. All sealants like this can only permanently seal very small leaks and, as you stated, can only do so where the offending surfaces are stable. I used K-Seal ultimate in my 2013 Subaru Impreza in a case of mysteriously disappearing coolant (internal head gasket leak) and it got me by until I could find a replacement car so I wasn't forced into a bad deal. How long the fix would have lasted I can't say but it lasted me two months until I sold it to a friend who wanted to do a WRX engine swap with it..

LIKE a miracle cure.. I had a pinhole in a 23yo radiator... replacement will be here in 3 days but I need the car NOW.. I tried the 60/40 mix of glycol with the radiator cap loose but it still boiled the solution out and I realized, unless the water jacket is sealed, the 270 degree boiling point can not be obtained.. many suggested Kseal so I gave it a shot.. 125 miles later and it is solid! If you are having leak issues , keep a couple gallons of water in the car, monitor the 'idiot light' while driving, and dont forget, if the leak causes over temp issue, let the car cool for 15 min, refill the water, then leave the cap loose or off and you can at least limp home and save the tow fee..

You may want to try that free 2nd bottle as if it worked for a time perhaps that 2nd bottle would be the fix? One bottle did fix my leak and is still lasting about 2 years now but as I understand it could possibly take that 2nd bottle? I love this product and yes the customer service is fantastic as I had a few questions prior to me using this product. Very good company and saved me $800 on replacing my Crown Vic intake that had a know factory problem with water leak.

If you didn't have any problems with the cylinder head studs breaking off in the block, then the next place to look is in the cylinder head. They are prone to corrosion around the water jacket openings and I've seen holes open up in the ports behind the valves due to corrosion. Good luck, enjoying the videos!

It is refreshing when a company replies in this way. I wrote 5 times to the company that manufactures Lucas batteries - to several different areas of the customer service department, U.K. and USA. and had a single response that said “contact the dealer”, despite including in my emails that the dealer said that I should write to customer services. But to be honest, shouldn’t we - as a customer- expect an answer to reasonable questions - of any company that includes “contact us” in their website? COVID appears to be the default reason for not doing so.

You may also want to look into a sealer that is based on sodium silicate (glass, essentially). K-seal is a fine product but relies on copper and ceramics. Sodium silicate solutions require you to flush the system before adding coolant.

Sodium silicate is ceramic. Ceramic is glass. K Seal uses liquid glass reinforced with copper.

I’m wondering if it plugs a hole then will it plug up your head gaskets holes for cooling the engine?

I’m running K seal in my 18 wheeler. I had to run a 16oz and a 8oz bottle. Maybe you could have tried another bottle before you gave up.

My car was using coolant on long trips, and there was bubbles on the radiator, I didn’t have the money to change the head gasket rn soo I just found out about these sealer’s and bought the K seal, drained and clean the whole system put new coolant on it and the k seal, let it idle for 30 minutes, then let it cool for 3 hours, again idle for 30 minutes and cool for the rest of the night, about 10 hours, there’s no bubbles, doesn’t smell like coolant getting burned and doesn’t smell like gasoline on the reservoir.

Hi Adam . I think many companies should use K Seals response as a model for customer care . And "Jeff" my "e"type engine needs a strip down and checkover ! 🤣🤣 Lucky you Adam but no more than you deserve !

Hi Adam once you have replaced the engine would you be doing a stripdown and inspection of the failed engine, it would make a good video, and I'm sure I'm not the only one interested about the failure.

Checking youtube reviews on K Seal wanting to give it a shot for a car i think the seal in water pump maybe will seal up using this product but i just thought your video of this product was kind and thoughtful and factful just for that ima try to use thie product i think its a good fit for my particular mechanical issue😊😊

I have tried K-Seal but the leak returned so I flushed the system and tried Blue Devil pour and go. I had to run the truck through a couple idling cycles but the leak was fixed and so far no leaks after three months.

My son tried it, 2012 Malibu 2.4 engine. Wasn't even a major leaking head gasket and it wouldn't work in his case. Disappointed because many had good luck with the product.

I keep losing antifreeze in my 05 corvette but I m not over heating I changed my radiator cap and thermostat so I m thinking my head gasket is leaking but my oil looks ok and my car runs ok no misses but my antifreeze is going somewhere Will kseal damage my engine if I add it to my antifreeze? This is my dream car and I cant afford to replace my engine but ill change my head gasket if I need to but I'm gonna try kseal

I have the same issue. My car engine is fine. But my coolant is burning. It is definitely due to head gas kit minnor leaks because air bubbles are coming out of radiator. Which indicates head gas kit leak. Today i used this product. I will share my experience with you.

U should have used steel seal. Much better than k seal. Expensive but is deadly stuff

Agree for some applications. Used it for head gasket blow-by on 2005 Grand Caravan and lasted 13 years same with my land rover Discovery after 3 rebuilds I decided Steel Seal and that held for 10 years I did the Kseal this time and I've had success with that for many vehicles but in a few they had clogged heater cores and or radiators. Which caused catastrophic damage. Ouch. Steel Seal is clear less likely to clog.
