I like to use cake plates as candle stands. They’re great for one large candle or a collection of smaller candles in varying heights.

I would love to see what you do with shutters as I have several in my garage. I thrift all the time. Sometimes I am looking for a particular item but I still look at everything. I love to find wood items that I can redo. I also love vintage sheets. You can do so much with them! I make rag wreaths, pillow covers, all kinds of stuff. I also use them for bedding because they feel wonderful. I love thrifting with you and your copper finds were displayed beautifully.🧡

My father was a lathe worker before he retired. So I got wooden cake holders of many sizes from him over the years. I painted them and use them.:) One is the centerpiece of a decor corner in our living room. It has birds, vases and colored bottles on it. I made a flowerpot out of several other smaller ones. I love to decorate with cake holders!

That round metal thing is an accessory to an Air Fryer. I put onion rings in mine. It rotates as it cooks.

Hi Julie !!! Yes I decorate with glass cake stands at Christmas time. I have a nice collection of Nativity Sets ( all different sizes) and I love placing my medium size one on a clear glass stand with a pine wreath under it and white lights. My wood ones I use for the other seasons with decor for that season. YES I love coffee !! Too much probably ! That metal wire thing in the beginning…..no idea…but one could use it as a “manual hamster wheel”… put that little hamster in it and wheel it around your counters….🤣🤣🤣. They drive me crazy seeing them on wheels…. Love all your Copper pieces …what a great find and good prices ! The Auction Place that I get my treasure from is actually having an Auction in their building on Tuesday… first time in person since last March….and the items are from a COUNTRY STORE !!! I giggled at the mystery piece 😂 It’s one of the inserts for the instant pot air fryer oven. You can put things like chicken nuggets and French fries in it. The basket constantly rotated (like a rotisserie) so your food is getting tossed around and makes it nice and crispy on all sides.

I have 11 vintage cake stands ,I use one to lift a live plant in the window to get enough light. I use them all over my house. Thanksgiving and Christmas I use them in my decorations. 🥰 I have a big house. Too big for us now at our age, but it is home. ❤️

I use cake plates for everything I want to elevate! They are so pretty & of course antique ones are a bit higher. But the quality is so much better than the repops of today! I started collecting them many years ago. The prices seem to have went down in today's market. I found thus square one I was absolutely in love with but it was priced at 100$. That was far to expensive for my budget. Later I found it again at another antique shop & it was only 30 or 25 $ . I can't remember for sure. I snatched it up in a heartbeat & was so thrilled to find it at an affordable price! I love them so much!

I love copper kettles, they look like they're from the 1700s. The time I bought a cake holder was for a wedding present for my sister. But you've got me thinking,lol. I think the cage wheel is for raffle tickets. Like at our local farmers appreciation luncheon they use one to draw the tickets for the donated items and then you win if you have the matching ticket

I have a green glass cake stand in my kitchen I use as my coffee station. Instant coffee, cappicino, a small planter that says home, use it for my spoons, my small Alfred tea pot, and tea bag rests. Nothing fancy just easy organized and clean. Enjoy watching and music you use is so calm and enjoyable.

Hi Julie! My daughter bought me a beautiful pink crystal cake stand and it has speckles of gold. I have it on top of my Dining room table I have candles of different size that use batteries when is our birthday I display the cake on it to celebrate our special day. Pretty mustard coffee cups are beautiful. I would have bought the vintage 10 cents cough drop can very unique find. The pretty basket I would buy it. I want the Christmas houses that are electric. The mystery item is a raffle draw or bingo spinner. Cake plates are great for candle stands or just to elevate other decor pieces. When I thrift, I look for English Bone china, linens, baskets & books. Have found some real treasures like my Royal Albert teapot Blossom Time pattern & Royal Stafford Violets Pompadour place settings.

I use cake stands all over , in my bathroom to put the soap & a flower vase, also in the kitchen for my oil and salt & pepper and by the sink for my hand soap or dish soap and sponge and scrub brushes

That "paddle" looks like the one they used in our grade school, I think the teacher was a masochist, thank goodness that's way in the past, a teacher lay their hands on my child & they are DONE!! Like that basket very handy for hair products. That plate by the copper pieces would look nice w/ur new cups for breakfast rolls,etc. Hi 2 the girls.
