The upgrades in chests are much more helpful when stacked, so even the cheaper ones can benefit you a lot! I don't personally find the gold chests very worth it early game but I also don't tend to get very lucky lol

12:43 Kevin placing random walls is actually very smart, it does provide a lot of protection against all bosses but especially Gronk. Gronk is easy asf to kill if you just stay behind him and let him keep doing his crazy slash attack, I killed him with a wooden axe before so it’s possible to get the sword hilt and blade on day one to get Gronks sword. Or rather day zero

I have some very good tips. First, prioritize getting mithrill pickaxe and axe so you can mine adamantite. You should first make a full set of armor from adamantite and make an adamantite sword. Second, if you wanna make a skybase, stack 3 workbenches on top of each other and then put the stairs on top of the workbench on top of the stack. Third, go for the cheapest chests. Health is very important in this game. The three powerups you want are: Red Pill, Blue Pill and Dracula. Those three help you in increasing your maximum health.

Kevin, here are some tips for you. 1. Don't bother with the really expensive chests until near the end of the game. Open as many 25 chests as possible in the first 4 days because all chests get more expensive after day 4. 2. When you see the rock dudes about to throw a rock, quickly run backwards. Their throw distance is selected when they start the animation, but the rock flies in the direction they are looking. If you back up when they start the animation, they will throw it like, a foot in front of them. 3. Once you get steel items, do as many combat shrines as possible (The square ones with the spikes). Its a free item and they don't take to long with the steel sword/pickaxe. 4. Ditch your tools once you've crafted new ones. They are literally useless unless you are playing with friends. When you do play with friends, keep them in a chest. 5. Mine every single coal you find. Its worth the time it takes. 6. When you put your base down, press M to look at your map so you know the general location of it at least. 7. The sky base does work, ya just have to not break it :P. And be ready to kill everything that spawned at the same time but thats a different story.

Kevin, you should play Streets of Rogue. It's a roguelite with amazing freedom of choice, allowing one to possibly go through the game without killing anyone(though for some reason I doubt you'll choose to do so). There's also an amazing variety among the playable characters(ranging from an investment banker who is addicted to every drug to literally just a gorilla) and even a character creator. I think you'd really like it. Oh, and you can poison buildings' air filters to poison everyone inside. Thought you might like that.
