I cried enough when I relocated back to Uganda from the UK🇬🇧, tears won't bring back youthful 30 years.
Relocating from any country to another is not easy. it's a transition that most of us are never ready for especially because of the costs and the unknowns involved.
After three decades (30years) Auntie Jackie decided to relocate back to Uganda from the UK. It drains here physically, mentally and financially.
She took this decision of relocating after suffering from a healthy condition. She says she started making the preparation to relocate 10 years ago
She cried until she cried no more. Now she is enjoying her process and creating awareness for other people in the diaspora to follow her example if things don't go as planned
follow her story on her channel ‪@AuntieJacquiesDiary‬

Dear Antie Jackie kudos to you. I have been abroad 44 years and my only regret is not returning to Uganda sooner. I am sure you have more peace in Uganda than in the fast paced UK. I think we the diaspora need to link up together and laugh about life abroad. Cheers!

No one should Blame Jackie she did her best, trust I have been living in UK for 20 years and many peoples just working 12 hours every day, 6 to 7 days per week just to pay the rent and bills. Some indigenous English people cannot even put food on the table and in UK and we have some workers such as nurses are in full time work but at the end of the months they have to go and get food from charities such as food bank just to survive. Those who never lived and work in UK are very good on judging others

💯 nobody owes anyone explanation for their life. Not all plans go through. Sometimes life happens in a way you don't expect. I went abroad for a very short time came back with some money, that's 2015 THEN 3 months after am back my new business collapsed and I had invested the balance of my money there. Luckily I had 1 friend who I could be genuine with and I could be honest and say please help me with 200 sh for food Am now back on my feet. Ave learnt my lessons hopefully Keep going strong ladies and I hope life turns out well for you

My Sister Lynne that is so lovely and thank you for the big heart you have. Just to highlight that what people think about someone having left there mother land to look for green pastures, there are challenges which can be very hard to explain. But through my experience I trust that the Almighty Lord has reasons for everything and she is an example to everyone. People should not be judged 1. She has is doing better than being homeless over here in London. We pray that all works out better for her. Thanks Lynee for sharing her store as alot of things go on in people's lives and they keep quiet. I really feel her pain and please keep sharing for others to learn.❤

Taking the mickey - In this context means sneakily exploiting someone while pretending to be honest…. . At other times it could mean to make fun of someone either in a funny harmless way or cruel unkind way i have enjoyed this…life happens and when it hasn’t happened to you just be thankful, be empathetic and learn life lessons from others ..life throws curveballs, (we have all heard about wealthy individuals who went bankrupt and committed suicide, did they not plan? Were they not savvy enough? It will be naive to hide behind the internet as a keyboard warrior and come up with such a simplistic opinions as it’s because of no planning or no foresight) we pray the Lord helps us handle those curveballs and come through the other side even better… it is all good….love you ladies, Lynne and Auntie Jacquie❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The only advice that I could give her is that, she sould come back to the UK and live in sharedd accomongation, work for few months to raise some money to finish that project she can also hire some one to care for her child while she is away working but only if she feels she is strong enoght to that or except other reason. You have made a good choice no doubt about it. God bless you.

Terrible advice! She’s doing well and all is well. I live in the west and have been for 23yrs. I wouldn’t leave my child for any period of time so I can create some illusion of success. She’ll finish her house in due time. Let’s change how we think, hired help is not responsible for raising our children
