I’ve learned so much from this channel about not just hair but life (unhealthy hair is just a side effect of unhealthy thinking). When yall said that you might have to start screening ppl, and your husband asked “..what is this?” For many it’s not just hair advice but it’s their way of getting therapy smh… they taking out their anger about their lives on you. You need to elevate your clientele. Literally anyone in the hairstyling business deals with these type of clients. I cant tell you how to hold onto feelings (maybe a therapist is needed for that), but you do need to seriously vet who you allow access to you. Charge money, do an initial consult to get a read on their personality, something. Wishing you the best of luck.

I understand you are a very sensitive person Cyn doll but in life you will learn, you can’t help someone who don’t want to help themselves. A lot of people have problems and they take that frustration out on others. Pray before you go into consultations and start asking for a deposit before you book appointments. In my opinion, you should come up with a set of rules that your client has to sign before you are willing to speak with him or her and make sure you let them know your fee is non refundable if you have problems with them that is beyond your control. I guarantee you, you will attract better people to your business. Keep during your consultation and make your money

And when i tell my husband I can't so thos anymore, he says don't let a few bad apples stop your joy. So I get it. So annoying with the messed up attitudes.
