Man, I am always glad to see your content, especially when you play something on trumpet. Have 2 of your cds and saw that snippet of a performance you did with Elvin. You were on fire in just that little bit that was posted. I also met Dr. Byrd in San Francisco when he was in town to record the album that had Donald Brown's song for Malcom X. He asked me to play his trumpet with one of the many mouthpieces he had in a bag. I sucked of course, but it was still a thrill. Donald and I were in a couple of Funk bands in Memphis, back in the day. And have learned a lot from your tutorials, especially with Bill Adam. Thanks for the posts and info.
