@@Kizzey You can only do 24 Hours in a week so you can hit £300 in a week but that is before expenses. Depends where you are, but being near to Amazon locations is a big help as you can go for the blocks that are starting soon.

No so you make your own way to the depot. Once there you start your shift and you're paid from there. A safe place is defined by the customer and can be anything from their front porch to behind their bins. Hope that helps.

This is maybe just for you , we can't chose pick up points & destinations if want to work everyday, The options are very limited for us and we have to take whatever is offered which usually involves a 60-100 miles drive for £39 which takes around 5 hours to get home.

@@Amin.S.B looks like you are in another country, idk how it is over seas but last week I made $1719 working 6 days, my check on Friday was $904.50, my check on Tuesday was 814.50. I guess it just depends on the area. I do this full time and I currently don’t have any other side hustles

Yeah you do have to scan every parcel, then the app plans the route for you.

I'm paying £7 fuel for a £37.50 job. I did one today and wrote my miles at 25p per mile on my 1.4 petrol car. I always calculate otherwise you lose out and its worth it here, plus I don't pick the far locations, I stay local

Whilst I see what you mean, but remember this is a self employed job, so you have to do your taxes, keeping record of the millage you done per block you can write and claim that back from the government on the mileage forms. You can do them as frequent or in frequent as you want

It's ok to do as main job for a little while, not ideally long term tho.

You need to drive to different locations in radius 10 to 40 miles for picking up then driving 2 to 3 hours in the streets for deliveries ( for just £39) , finally back home form location between 10 to 40 miles.

Unless you get a good high paying block it’s not worth it. A 3 hour block is £39. You’ll do around 50-80 miles so £10 on fuel. £30 for 3 hours of running around minus wear and tear and taxes you more probably making around £20 for 3 hours plus travelling to the depot to pick up and even travelling back to return parcels.

Yeah you've got to fill it out yourself. But rumours are that amazon report your earnings to HMRC. So make sure it's accurate

you are self employed. You have to register with HMRC and fill out a tax return every year. You will be taxed on your profit, so income minus expenses. In the video he was talking about blocks that entailed about 50 miles driven. His screenshot showed three blocks paying £40.50 each, so using those figures: income 40.50 less 22.50 (50 miles @ HMRC mileage rate 45 pence per mile) = 18.00 taxable income. Taking the simple case of someone doing this as a top up to another job, all of that £18 would be taxed , so £18 x 20% = £3.60 in income tax. Bear in mind if he earns a lot he'd also have to pay national insurance as well as income tax However, sticking with the simple scenario, he received £40.50, he'd pay £3.60 tax and be left with £36.90 out of which he'd have to pay his actual fuel costs and set aside some money to cover the increased wear and tear on his car (high mileage = tyres and repair bills needed more often). He said he actually completed the block in 2 hours so in this instance his rate per hour is good in real cash terms 36.90/ 2 = 18.45 per hour. Even if he took the full expected 3 hours for the block, that is still above minimum wage and considerably better than other delivery companies such as Evri who pay pennies per item successfully delivered

Not strictly true, they've sent out an update saying you need 5 SEATS, and something very vague about medium sized cars. Unfortunately it's caused a lot of confusion. I'll ask next time i'm there.

@@Heisenberg2K No. that's wrong, see my previous comment. Once again, the app itself gave an update saying cars will need 5 seats. The number of doors is not a factor they consider. This has been confirmed at the depots i work out of.

It varies depending on the time of year, but I think it roughly no more that 9 hours a day, 24 hours in a week, 90 hours a month.

When I recorded the video, yes it was worth it. However, now I would say it depends on your circumstances and how close the depot is to you. Fuel has risen so much since I recorded, but prices for the flexes has not increased at all.

Did you even watch the video? He says it’s probably not for you if you care about adding mileage to your car and the car depreciating. If you already have a car and pay for tax, insurance etc - your only cost is fuel. You’d still make a profit.

Thanks for commenting James, I'd also like to add that this is on the base rates for the shifts. They can easily go up to about £25 per hour if you are willing to accept slots closer to the start times.

@@James-kb5mx Everybody cares about more milage and car's depreciations ,if your car is new it will lost the price everyday and if old, you need to pay for parts and Repair always, Drivers also need to pay for tyres , oils , .. ,and repairing body damages , Also loosing benefits for, Drivers also can't use own car insurance and Amazon insurance pays the unsufficient compensation and also subtracts £500 from it, So £13 per hour is not enough at all. It looks like almost working for free, Drivers will understand this after few months because Amazon won't pay by milage , they just pays by hour which is can't be evaluated from beginning.
