On the counter shot topic, Rocksteady already nailed a system that worked just fine and was similar enough in Urban Chaos: Riot Response. In that game, you can bring out a riot shield at any time to block enemy attacks only in front of you. If they did something similar in this game, it probably would've better than "counter shots"

I had no idea about the sheer amount and variety of knockback you can get in this game. I play alot of Warframe, which is PVE online, and there's only one type of "knockback" in that, and people still hate that it's even a thing.
