I Didn't Think I'd Be So Happy About TheOne Almost Breaking | Waterbox 100.3 Ep1 The Beginning

3 жыл бұрынAround 6 months ago TheOne started to become structurally unsafe. It bowed in the middle by 20mm. If it was glass it would have defiantly shattered. While the camera hasn't been rolling its been braced with clamps as I feared the tank would pop open any time. I'm in the process of saving up for a replacement glass tank and decided it would be safer to move my stock to a temporary holding tank (The Waterbox 100.3) never did I think I'd fall in love with the Waterbox but I have, and I think you will too. #AaronsAquarium #TheOne

Michael, Hi, I've followed you,, for about, 16 months now,, I've seen quite a few aquariums in your home, from Small to large to massive,,, to be honest,, the scape the lightning, the corals, and the fish,, in this tank look the best of any tank that you've had,, keep up the good work,, thank you for what you do,, at home and in the store,,,, stay safe all,, happy reefing,, 👍

I have to say, this is a great ad for waterbox. The clarify from your acrylic tank to the waterbox is definitely noticeable.

I prefer it then the one aswell to be honest sometimes a smaller tank is just better I find. Looking forward to seeing this grow

I vaccum my sand almost every water change, very thoroughly. Stays mint! I love that WaterBox Aquarium.

Can you do a video of the sump area and how you have all the equipment set up underneath? I wanted to get the 100.3, but it looks kind of cramped up and I needed ideas on fitting dosing pumps, ect...

Wow Michael that looks so nice and like your family and many on here I much prefer it over the one 👌 will you keep the Yellow Tang and Copperband? I’ve just had a custom built tank made that’s more or less the same as yours (39x24x24” with central weir) and would like these fish myself but assumed it would be too small?

Superb job. The new tank looks stunning. Just one thing though, is it level? The water looks higher on the right side of the display. Hopefully it is just the camera angle.

Looks great, the new the one. Are you going to make a canopy to cover your lighting? Or are you thinking of making it an in wall tank and just box it all in to some degree? As you have already lost the side view on the window side and the recess on the left hand side has taken some view off, so make it a part of the family room. 😁

There is going to be a tonne of ammonia come out of that sand! Hope you have a plan for that.

I’m upgrading from a 20 gallon (mature tank setup since 2018), to a 70 gallon tank. Can I just transfer everything to new bigger tank and add water difference or do I have to do a new cycle? Please help guide me on how to make this transfer safely

Why is the tank close to failing. Are used to have an acrylic saltwater aquarium 150 gallons and the acrylic was too thin so the tank started bowing out I should’ve gone with a thicker walls.

No, as I mentioned in the video I keep my sand quite clean anyway so didn't clean it.

Nar! There's a black out blind on that window and I don't start my lights until 1pm ish so it will be fine.
