Deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats Daisy Cooper said "I don't agree with the rail strikes," but did say that government should be "using the power of Number 10" to bring people around the table to find a solution.

Once I see a non-Tory support these strikers I may just vote for them. But if Labour and the Libdems can't support a living wage, I can't support them

I was thinking of giving my vote to the Lib Dems until I heard this. They obviously have no solutions for working people. The three main parties are just more of the same, nothing will change.

On the contrary, it’s just that the common person’s worth hasn’t increased, it’s decreased. It’s been decreasing. Hundreds of thousands of refugees does that. Now we have a hundred thousand Ukrainians to add. Get used to it.

Here we can see who represents the working class…it’s not Lib Dems, it’s not the conservative’s , and it’s not labour. Everyone I speak to seems to understand how difficult it is to live right now. People are simply asking their wages keep up with inflation and literally not one party has stood by them. We have a complete dictatorship if capital in this country.

These MP's still don't realise that labour strikes are a tool of last resort for working people. The entire system of employment has failed by the time that a strike is called. When ordinary people are driven to desperation, when all attempts to highlight the issues within the system are exhausted, what is left for people to use when the system has failed so badly? Demonising and alienating workers that are left 'threatening' strikes isn't helpful or productive, government and employers need to stop with the rhetoric, start listening and help people.

Mick Lynch has been breath of fresh air.Intelligent, succinct calm and aarticulate. Tired of absurdly dishonest Brexitory halfwits churning out rehearsed cliches like that truly nasty harpy Rachel ‘get 3 jobs’ Maclean. Mick’s also shredded ‘journalists’ who asked questions that varied from stupid to imbecilic. We need far more of this!

Politics is grossly flawed. Voters have to compare one party's words with another's deeds. In addition to comparing the good of most people against the good of the individual. No wonder people invented up superheroes and deities to fill the void.
