I have actual brain damage but you can heal even some damage over years but anyone who lives with it and some people can't tell you have issues it's hard

Lol..My wife "zapps" brains for a living (neurofeedback) treating all sorts but especially TBI (traumatic brain injury). My whole family rides moto, but she sees mostly surfers as we live on maui. I was super surprised to hear about the damage done by big waves. I took a Nasty hit in '14 on the track. It helped me a ton, I recommend it.

For those who care I was turning my bike around when my front tire/rim got stuck to a chain I didn't know was on the ground attached to a pole so I got launched off my bike when it jerked straight to my head. I’ve always looked up to Pastrana in the sport. Racing mx earned me 3 concussions, and then a tbi with 3 hemorrhages that changed my life forever. Supposedly I won’t survive another concussion, but I’m still riding for fun. No more racing. I bet I’m living with CTE but thank God I’m a functioning member of society 😂🤣🤘🙌
@johnnyvivic8730
@johnnyvivic8730 2 жыл бұрын
One TBI won't give you CTE, not even with a few concussions added in there. It takes hitting the same spot over and over and over again in a relatively short amount of time for someone to develop it (as is the case with many sports, when you may not want to wait out a whole season because of a minor head-bonk, so you keep playing and get another one in the same way). In fact, minor knocks to the head have been shown to be more dangerous than hard knocks when it comes to CTE. Why this is the case has yet to be determined. Also, the doctors told me that too, and then years later I got another concussion and I'm still here. Maybe don't race anymore, but also don't give up the activities you love just because you'll be safer sitting at home. Then, you'll get depressed, and that's not good for the brain either.

Using today’s protocol I had a concussion EVERYDAY of full contact football in 1984,85,86,. Most likely in the earlier years I just didn’t have the headaches in the early years as I did in the mid 80’s. But I smoked pot everyday accept on game day. 1 year after graduation I led a commercial sheet metal crew. At 22 I started and ran locksmith business in Myrtle Beach until 2000. @@nickleviqe6259 practice , practice , practice. Pick every lock you can. Some you may never get picked. Some you may think it’s a lost cause, so walk away for a period of time go back and they may fall open. It’s all in the touch. Find a locksmith that will let you apprentice. I worked for 6-8 months for free to learn how to rekey , master key ,install deadbolts etc. unlock cars make car keys that was before the internet too so you have so much more information today than I did in 1990. I left that guy moved 45 min away and started knocking on doors introducing myself as the new kid in town. There was a well established locksmith there but a lot of people weren’t happy with his attitude he showed the costumers because he was the only game in town for a long time. Do what you say you’re gonna do be where you say you’re gonna be at all cost. Don’t leave costumers hanging or no shows. You’ll never get that trust back. If you can’t be at an appointment on time you must call ahead of time and explain why you” lied to them “. That’s the way I looked at it. From 1990 1995 or 96 we didn’t have cell phones. So I had to find a pay phone that worked or somebody wasn’t camped out on and call the appointment and say I was behind. Even if it was just 5 min late. People loved me and my work. I burned out after 10+ years of 7 days a week 24 hrs a day. I advertised that schedule and I lived it. Not this 23.5 hr crap I see plumbers and wrecker drivers advertise. When the phone rang I jumped like a fireman no matter what. Leave my wife in movie. The last movie I tried to see in a theater was Wayne’s world. I had a service call to make in the middle of it went back to get my squaw when I was finished. I left her in restaurants so she could eat hot food box mine up I’ll be back in a minute with the money to pay for this meal.
