I do this all the time. When I am inside planning for the garden, it all makes sense ... then I go out into the garden and get carried away and end up straying from my plan. I totally understand that struggle! I have also been trying to spend some relaxing time in the garden on these cool mornings. It is so peaceful! This is the perfect time to be taking pictures for yourself. They will get you through the winter when youre craving the garden!

The spider webs this time of year always get me too! I start walking around my yard like a mummy- waving my arms around to take out any webs before I walk though them. 😂

It looks like your seedlings are eaten by mice or bunnies. I have rolly polys...they eat rotted vegetation, like straw or dead leaves. I have sage that I started by seed 3 years ago. I added it to my strawberry garden and it is still going strong. I have harvested 4 dried cups of sage this year. The most ever! I do not remember what kind of sage it is. Bro the spider web! I have to wave my hands like a crazy person when i go into my garden because they create trip wire for me every night 😂 just single strings! Like WHY! I once got smacked in the face and then in the ankles right after haha now i wave my arms around to get it before it hits me in the face 😂😂

Awesome day in your late summer garden! Thank you for sharing. What type of soil/mix are you using for your white sage? Did you start it from seed? I would love to see a how to video on this. I've failed at every attempt to grow white sage from seed.

My Bok Choy is getting chewed on, too. I’m glad I didn’t try brassicas - I’ve seen lots of Cabbage White butterflies in my yard. I did not know Elderberries got that big! I have mine planted in a flower bed…may need to move it! 😮

The rolypolys are out of control this year. I’ve never had a problem and this year the little jerks mowed down like 50 of my direct sowed bean plants. I thought my seeds were not germinating because they were eating them that fast.

Congrats on your 100K! Spider web in the arch not a big surprise😀but getting the spider in the face is freak out time! I'm in SE Mich and get roly poly damage also. But the biggest culprit for me is earwigs! They are shredding my zinnia leaves to bits. Love seeing all the long hair in this vid (feline included)! A cup of coffee and a honeynut scone sounds delicious.

Earwigs are one of the biggest icks for me. They are everywhere at my house. The person who lived there previously just let the entire property go and so I have an overpopulation problem. When I tried to grow corn they would crawl into the ears and just destroy all the kernels. The pop out of everywhere. I can't stand them.

I wish you could send me some of your honey nut seeds. I’ve tried finding them online but everywhere I look is completely sold out. I still have time to plant here but no seeds 😢
