I think this might be a good series Widgie it's interesting and sometime amusing to see low elo players do there thing, I'm pretty sure T900 runs a similar series on aoe2.

I think there is much merit in also casting low elo and mid elo games. It gives all players a spotlight and analysing those games can help in getting better. In pro games you see how it should be done and most player will never get to that level. It is great to watch high level gameplay and see what people can get out of a civ but it's also nice to watch casts about people on my level to see how they're doing. Also I think the German immigrant build is even more deadlier in low elo since it's quite easy to execute and the enemy will probably not have a response at all.

Hard to say something about it, one played a really clean game, the other one forgot about making troops.

To be honest, I really like this new series due to how creative the player can be if they're able to finish their setup... the potential is mind blowing!!

Do even lower ELOs please! Low ELO legends from aoe2 is so fun! Don't be afraid to be a little mean and make fun of them, it's amusing and all in good fun

This idea sounds fun! I'd love to see more low ELO gameplay. Despite this one being not too exciting, I can expect some players in the low ELO ladder to come up with surprising strategies which will 100% make for some amazing content! Can't wait for the next one!!

Thanks a lot for casting games that will be like the games 99% of us will play!! Really appreciate your trying it out. Even a steamroll like this game is more fun to watch than a pro game (obviously if every game is a steamroll it would be boring though, but they shouldn't be even in random). Some people prefer to watch college football instead of pro football too, this is similar. More variety in builds, units, etc, just everything is better from an entertainment perspective with non-pro players. I can't really explain the Ethiopia player, even at 950 ELO players know to expect 25-30 muskets by 9:30, and vs USA it is practically guaranteed. My only explanation is African civs are hard and he hasn't played Ethiopia much, I do salute him for playing a variety of civs.

I really enjoy the LEL videos from T90, i really like your addition of the player stats. I'd love more LEL content with hopefully a few more balanced games.

also i love these low elo legends videos! high level players are great and all but everything is so tight and drilled down to a T. As a viewer i find it much more interesting to see what kinds of creative things players who dont know any better will come up with.

I believe the Ethiopian dude was playing roller coaster tycoon in the background while USA copied some meta strategy to overpower his opponent and won because he had a strategy laid out before him to follow. Ethiopian dude didn’t follow a build order and just seemed to be at the mercy of his opponents timing, looks like he had no business playing that civ as he did not have an army composition but instead built a fort and two towers side by side and decided to go for a TC after they were destroyed by his OP opponent. It’s not confusing it’s just a lack of fundamental awareness and inexperience.

I prefer Low ELO Legends. Let's consider that their APM and their knowledge of the game is closer to the average player, in other words, their games are more approachable by those who want to learn.

LEL is fine, but this game was not good, it was so much one sided. No spectacle there.

Random low elo games can be quite boring... Sometimes one might get steam rolled like on this one, and not that interesting.....
