Payasam is a well made movie! Honestly speaking his style of movies wont work for today's "NuniPul meyum" youths. Vasanth should make movies or short series for TV network's OTT apps(Zee5, SonyLiv or SunNXT - not netflix or prime...) we definitely lack there is a big space in quality TV series. Payasam kinda of movies will definitely suite the audiences of those media. Hope he does well in his next movies.

There cannot be another masterpiece like Rhythm. The reason it wasnt celebrated then is because it required lot of maturity which audience lost at that time after early 70s, 80s. Its the top most matured love story in our cinema. It starts off as a feel good movie, gets serious, shows clean romance, troublesome flashback, then thrilling finish. All this is done without over drama, natural acting, beautiful BGM and songs.
