I don't need Firebase anymore! I use Appwrite Cloud Functions

I managed to create a cloud function on GitHub using Node JS that has CI CD in less than 5 minutes, and you can do this too! Finally, I don't have to use services like Firebase and complicated setups with a worry that the pricing might break my wallet.
Appwrite and it's new cloud beta is now available. It has cool things like cloud functions that are easy to implement using templates that are ready to go. This was probably the easiest way to deploy a simple hello world function, but I also deployed an OpenAI ChatGPT Prompt generator showing how easily AI features can be integrated with openai and functions!

I have a headache after this. Picture jumps all the time: closer-further, closer-further. It is contraindicated for those who have a weak vestibular apparatus if you do not want to vomit

I would like to add to this as well. The animations are smooth and crisp but it makes it harder to focus. Sometimes less is more. Not hating or anything just maybe something to keep in mind in the future

I’m trying appwrite and it sounds waaaaay better than firebase or even gcp. Its interface is a lot better. Let’s see in the future how its infra is going to behave

yep, just like you normally would write a function, just set the connector to firestore
