Here's me going "Oh no it's a cannon rush! How's he going to hold that?" and he says "Oh this is a failure for him" and defeats it in about 10 secs.

Cannon rush guy at 5k mmr and he decides to tap out after getting a cannon up why? No follow up at that level? What did he see that said nope to him, I wonder.

@@lickenchicken143His cannon rush was doomed to fail once the probe inside the main died and the other two were locked out. There’s no way you’re going to catch up with a Terran, who can build CCs in his base and float them to wherever he wants, after sinking 600+ minerals (Forge, 3 Pylons, 1 Cannon, +1 Cannon that will need to be canceled & 2 additional canceled buildings) into a failed cannon rush. Maybe you could play your heart out for a few more minutes to try to eke out a comeback but you would have to be seriously underestimating your opponent at that MMR to do so. Edit: Wanted to note that even assuming the cannon in the main finished instead of canceling, it wouldn’t be able to do any serious economic damage before being promptly taken out.

@_catsy all good points, you're missing the psychological damage if a cannon rush, but especially given how uThermal reacts here, there doesn't seem to be any. Gg I guess.

I would love to see you try to defeat your opponent by prioritizing taking out their supply structures. Not sure if that is a viable strategy but would be hilarious 😂

@@davidbang9625 Not exactly. If you're good enough at sniping supply, they can't build an army. But also it just costs them a lot of money to keep remaking supply, so they can't afford units, so again there is not a lot of army.

Recently you've been playing some games against people in the community (rather than ladder), which have been super fun. They also open up whole new possibilities by using modified gameplay. In the challenges you can choose note to make certain units, but you can't add other handicaps. What about a game against a Diamond player where your units are modded to be super slow, or super huge? That might be really entertaining to watch. Though of course a bit more work to prepare.

Series: Protoss Bong Cloud: build a second base and transport all workers there. No longer allowed to mine from the main until you have a third base up.

Finally. My second best series (after Sky Terran) continues. Welcome back! Idea for a new series: Transformers. You are allowed units that can transform: Hellbats/Hellions, Siege Tanks, Vikings and maybe Thors. Thors while technically transform, have one of their forms barely useful, so that might be a reason to exclude them. Besides, with Thors this might look too much like Penguin Brothers.

Would like to see Challenge X plus one. Where plus one is whatever unit you think would solve the weakness or be most fun at the time you're playing. So challenge could be battle cruisers, or cyclone widow mine, or cloaked units, and then you get to pick one unit to add to the mix for each match.

I want to see the "Psychopath Challenge", you can only build the same tier units as your competition. You have to scout to see what they have and that is all you can build. If it is a mirror match, you have to build the exact same thing. 2nd option: You can only build units that are hard countered by your opponent's build. Let's see those micro skills

An idea for a new series: Perfect Game to GM. Play however you need to so that you lose no units, or set a threshold like less than _ unit lost per minute. Usual strategies treat units as sacrificial if they can do enough damage, I'd be curious how far someone could get while never sending units on suicide missions (possible exception for banelings if a Zerg series).
