Dude, I have to tell you again how good that plate looks on the fender, you killed it!… Exactly what Harley should’ve done!

Great Mod, but a few things that need to be done, First is why the hell did you cut the bike wiring, cut the connector off the old light !! and Please do something with those holes in the fender so the tire doesn't fill them with mud and the rubber holds it in and rust the fender out, also the drilled holes need some sort of protection on the bare metal now. When that amazon light doesn't work any more the corrosion in the wire will travel in to the factory wiring, so it wont be easy to replace again and you will be chasing the wire further up looking for good wire to solder to again

i would highly recommended putting some of that grommet around the whole your wires are in. the vibration will eat through those wires in no time.

youre right about the future reguarding connectivity. but my 2021 bike did remember the settings for audio routing. so harley must of messed up with the 2024 roadglide I have the same bike as yours that's the only thing on mine that has given me any trouble. thanks for your input.

Great video. I just got my Road Glide last week and even used your video to help with my dealer negotiations. I am going to try this mod, but as a hobby I design and build 3D products, so I going to purchase the frame and then design a 3d printed adapter to use the stock holes as well as fill in the gaps. Should be fun.

I’ve used the same frame on my custom HogWorkz fender and CVO fender. It’s the nicest cleanest look n my opinion! Great video.

I spoke with Hogworkz and they're making up some modifications for the saddlebags and 3 bar lights. I dislike the backend to some degree at least and believe they were aiming for the Ultra look. Nothing wrong with a different look but give us some options if you like the look of the prior years. Since they want us to modify then they dropped the ball here.

Did doing this cause problems with the warranty especially with the new dash electronics? Seems like you may have created a loophole in the warranty. Looks good but that would be my main concern. I’ll wait and see what the aftermarket comes out with in the future.

Pull the bolts and paint the now bare metal holes before they develop too much rust.

100% better I saw that giant light and was WTF was the MoCo thinking when they put that on there. Imagine a lot of people will be doing this mod.

It would’ve looked better if you painted it the same color as the bike. And, It would’ve looked more like it was a part of the fender too, especially when the LED’s lit up.

Why is because Corporate only sees you as a means to justify higher stock prices. So they just used the old CVO fenders some slight changes to mount new taillights that are cheaper and a plastic back bracket instead of metal. It’s big because it’s cheaper to keep the stiffner bracket stud like that instead of flush welding it. Now I have to install thousands of those stupid ass tails and LP brackets a week instead of a year.

Looks nice, but why not use a thin, curved backer plate to mount to existing holes? Same look no drilling the fender. Also wouldn't have needed spacers.

Really surprised you didn’t fabricate an adapter plate so you would mount to the original screw holes.

I would of just made a plate to go behind the new holder and used the two existing holes
