🇴🇲AL WASIL, OMAN - In this vlog I'm taking you to the Ash Sharqiya Sands, formerly known as Wahiba Sands, a desert known for its large rolling dunes. I am going to leave Salalah and drive alone 990 km north-east until I reach Al Wasil, a bedouin town in the Ash Sharqiya region.
Here the adventure begins: I'm going to drive in the desert trying to find my friend Ahmed's house in the dunes, hoping not to get stuck in the sand and not to lose my way.
My friend is not there so I am going to sleep alone in his family house in the desert. In the morning I'm going to explore the desert village life, its tiny mosque, and to meet the local imam's wife and children.
