Hello Tom Tom. Nice job with your bumper. I can recognice the doors and the screens on the Dig Dog from the Blazer I bought 40 years ago when it was cheap to buy US cars in Norway. The Steel plates in screens and doors was wonderfully thick and solid. I remember a friend of mine bumped the left screen in a big pine without as much as a mark on the screen that we were prepared that we had to repair after that big bang before we started laughing after we saw a little piece of bark as the only visible on the screen. I bought an inexpencive model with 3 speed manual, 6 cylinders engine and simple steel rims, remembered as a very reliable car. Best regards Arne G in Norway

I lived in Idaho briefly more years ago than I care to remember. My memory of the lava fields is they were usually super abrasive. Hard on shoes and heaven help you if you fell. I assume they must tear the heck out of tires, too?
