Lane AWD they run through the desert at 120+ and can still crawl good, but the solid axle buggies typically get through crawling sections better, were as the independent buggies run the open desert better, also 1 tons would be a lot cheaper than building an independent suspension that’s strong enough to handle rock crawling

You handled it like a boss... the Blazer did good work. And damn that looked like a ton of fun. My best offroading experience was at the Oregon Sand Dunes. Took my 2018 F150 4x4 pretty much fresh off the lot to the dunes. No idea what I was doing, drove up a hill of sand, got on the other side then got stuck. I was the only person out there, and there was only one way out of the situation: driving through a pond. Tested the mud beneath the water with a stick to make sure I wouldn't sink too far... took a deep breath and gunned it through the pond. Water came up to the hood but got out to the other side and the truck was steaming. Took a minute to let it cool then drove down the ATV trails, truck could barely fit, branches slapping the mirrors. Man that was a fun day. Your video makes me want to do something like that again... this looked like a fantastic event. Can't wait for the next video.
