Rudy Israel Rochman, born on September 6, 1993, is a notable Jewish-Israeli rights activist recognized for his dedication to enhancing Jewish identity, combating anti-Semitism, and fostering collective unity within Israel.
Rochman's military service in the Israel Defense Forces includes roles in the 98th Paratroopers Division, the 35th Paratroopers Brigade, and the 55th Paratroopers Brigade. He has participated in several key conflicts, such as the Gaza-Israel conflict, the 2012 Israeli operation in the Gaza Strip, and the 2023 Israel-Hamas war.
His activism has not been without peril; Rochman was kidnapped in Nigeria during his quest to connect with the lost tribes of the Jewish people. His escape and survival are considered remarkable.

Rudy's story is so inspiring & such a metaphor. Just as 3 Jews found a lone, sympathetic Christian "friend" while falsely imprisoned in Nigeria, the Christians stand as the lone allies of the Jews in this battle of Good vs Evil. Wow! Rudy Rochman is a true hero for Am Yisrael. His project to document the "lost tribes" of Israel is fascinating (they were always there!). I would love to hear more about it. His work on college campuses is absolutely needed. I went to the OU website and signed the letter for the Living Lchaim team. I sure hope we get the support we need.

I read reform synagogues are a good starting point. I'd like to adapt the customs and Jewish holidays but it would be a huge switch to go to a synagogue and pray regularly, not sure if I could keep up with it always, when I'm introverted and too busy. But it seems like the kind of people I'd prefer most.

Excellent and inspiring interview!! One comment though: True Christians do not “blame” Jews for killing Jesus. The New Testament teaches that Jesus laid down his life on his own initiative, no one took it from him. Though I have Ashkenazi DNA I do believe Jesus is the Messiah and he will soon come to finally complete the fulfillment of prophecy. ❤🇮🇱🙏🏼🙌🏼🫶🏼

I learned early to "speak softly, and carry a big stick." I started learning martial arts with a focus on self-defense combatives, early on. Diplomacy is important, activism is critical, but the bottom line is this: we don't negotiate for peace or mercy from a position of weakness, with a boot on our throat. At the most basic level, we must learn how to put up a good physical fight. If we lose, at least we take piece of them with us, and they think twice before bullying a Jew. They don't get to walk away unscathed.

True Christians should never blame Jews for killing Jesus. Jesus gave His life for you and me so His blood could do atonement for our sins. I love Jews greatly. At 1:07:26 In other words EDUCATION. Children are NOT born hating other people; they are TAUGHT, as Rudy observed. I have contacted at least half a dozen organizations to assist in setting up a Montessori toddler and preschool in Gaza once the fighting has stopped, but none have responded, so far. I am a recently retired Montessori teacher. Montessori's approach to education is precisely to promote PEACE. My suggestion to go into Gaza and offer Montessori education is to HELP Israel; you need neighbours who are not hellbent on destroying you but you have to start at the beginning.... Are there any other Montessori trained people out there who are willing to give it a go?
