In Australia I was on a road trip and we saw a McDonald’s play place connected to a mansion, The play place was from the 80s and they connected a really fancy house to it

Hey crowranaburger i live in San Antonio Texas and I actually have a old McDonald’s location that used to be near my house I see it everytime I go to my school it has the red roof and the yellow gutters and the inside it has poster of McDonald’s and McDonald’s characters, and the tables are wood and seats are red white and yellow, I just wanted to share my story of a old McDonald’s I went to near my home

My local location did the same thing as the 2nd one! if you go to The McDonalds at centerville turnpike in Chesapeake, VA, It Has A Grey Roof Like The Old Designs. The only thing they changed was the Logo.

Omg most of these are in my state of NJ! I also explored all of these. They are so special and unfortunately all are getting demolished. Was the first one the Paramus location? That used to be a restaurant and McDonald’s wasn’t allowed to change the shape of the building at the time they aquired it due to a local ordinance. It it also currently under demolition. I will also have a video on my channel soon focusing on the last and remaining retro McDonald’s locations in NJ - some of these included. Nice video.

They tore our old one down that was built in 1985, and replaced it with one of the new ugly boxy ones. There was nothing wrong with it. The new ones are very uninviting.

My Local McDonald’s had a red roof with a Ronald McDonald statue at the play place I really liked it until they remodeled it into the grey color box which I’m not a fan of It doesn’t match McDonalds at all they are just taking all the fun away and the unique look and all that 😔
