Respect to Joe for admitting he was wrong. He completely humbled himself like a real man. Even though he tries to still save face a little you can tell he genuinely regrets embarrassing Roy like that.

@Jeremo Brown Roy a washed up bum wtf 💀 are you serious or trolling 🤣 ? in his prime he was a beast one of a kind crazy athletic ability. just because he is older doesn't make him a washed up bum you guys use the term bum too much to refer to certain fighters.

I love Fat Joe but he is a yes man and he stretches the truth more than the elastic on his underwear! He told the story probably five or six years before this interview and he said he had about 15 or 20 guys with him now it's up to 150 guys! In all fairness once Roy would hit him with them bare Knuckles! I think that Joe's guys would have retreated! To jump someone there's got to be a crash test dummy that's got to come at you first right before the rest of them get on you and who in the hell's going to be that crash test dummy not me and I don't believe in getting in other people's business even if it's my friend. If it's two men then let them talk it out and handle their business and if Roy and him get into a fight just pull Roy off of him!

Roy basically told him to keep his name out his mouth and drop the belt 😂😂😂 Oh Virgil Hill had beef with Roy before that Fight too.. Roy broke his ribs... But the funny part was in that fight he was setting Virgil Hill Up with that counter right because he knew Hill was going to throw that left jab. Roy closed the distance letting Hill get comfortable connecting a few times then ducked and threw the counter that caught Hill across the face lol.. Roy kept doing it so much he finally caught Hill trying to block up top expecting Roy to come over the top to his face but he went to the body instead.. Broke his Ribs..😂😂😂 Bad Dude Yo

I met Fat Joe at the O’Connell Center at the Terror Squad concert way back in the day. Super cool dude. He got off the tour bus driving those little remote controlled micro cars. He was super laid back and down to earth. Just a few months later, I met Roy Jones Jr. for the second time at a charity basketball game in Gainesville, Florida. Roy was as humble and down to earth a superstar as anyone I’ve ever met. He was a childhood hero of mine, and I told him so. He autographed some stuff and gave me his CD. He wasn’t anything like the monster you saw in the ring. He was as kind and as lighthearted a guy I’d ever met. It’s crazy to think that this man was “in the matrix” when he was in the ring at super middleweight, then when on to be in the movie “The Matrix!” I’ll always be a fan of Roy Jones Jr. Glad to know Roy and Joe made amends after that rap beef. I love both of those guys. Salute.

Roy has a few knockdowns is his fight with Reggie Johnson....but one of those knockdowns was so fast and wicked. You will only understand the science in slow motion. Theres a KZfaq film study called Roy Jones 10k....its broke down on there with several other southpaw fighters.

fighters are groomed to be warriors. and at a young age when cockiness clash with the warrior mind state you have people like roy. vernon forest died going in the worng area. there have been plenty of fighters who have died because they dont care about pain. there is a video on youtube where a past boxer is being shot by a cop multiple times and hes still attacking the cop. but of course if you make it be be old like iron mike roy and other legends the cockiness eventually leaves.
