I felt inspired today... (improvised solo)

I was feeling inspired today so I put together this track with an interesting chord progression and decided to try improvising over it!
I really like how this one turned out. The chord progression has some interesting changes in it that can help inspire some new melodic ideas!

I listened to this earlier today and it sticks, it tears. I feel if reduced to the notes that count (make it for normal people), this could be the base of a really good song.

Wow...everytime I would hear in my head certain notes I would want to hear, Jamie would play them. There are many solos that start out cool then fizzle out in the middle, but this one was cool from beginning to end. Awesome job!

Very nice! Im wanting to put Dimarzios in my Aries. Same set as yours. What's your action and relief like? I'm having a hard time setting mine up. I need to get a couple frets leveled as well. But it's a nice axe.

I actually just set up this guitar last week. I usually have the neck pretty straight and recently have had the action a bit lower than I usually do. I like being able to really grab the string for bends. Which is slightly higher action than most players go for. But with the jumbo frets, you can still dig in with low action. Hope that helps!

Do you have a just a little fret buzz unplugged? My problem is my Low E. I have it at about 4/64. High E around 3.5/64. Very little relief and straight neck. I wish I had gotten jumbo but have the med. Jumbo.

@@Lesspaw41My new one that I made a video for the other day has medium jumbo frets and they also feel great. I haven’t measured my action. I go by feel and sound. I do have a little buzzing unplugged. It also depends how hard you pick the strings. As long as the buzzing doesn’t come through the amp you’re fine. But it’s all personal preference!
