I’m officially divorced! Unfortunatley some marriages become extremely toxic to a point where it can be determintal to your health, soul and spirit.
I realised that God loved me so much married or not and he wanted me to live and LIVE WELL! After all that it what Jesus came to give us (John 10:10)

I am celebrating with you. Divorced as of May 3rd 2024. I am so happy it’s such an amazing feeling. He filed because I had three protection orders against him.

Nana said god knows who is right for you better than you and he can see further than you sitting down than you can see standing up. What people should fear is breaking a covenant one creates before god. People get it twisted but how can the man downtown overturn the covenant uptown?

Not absolute truth, that was Paul's counsel. Paul gave a Counsel even Christ acknowledged that because of the Israelites' behavior, he created divorce because men were just abandoning their families since they could not divorce. You should not stay in marriage if it's been abusive.

Content creation is the new trend -- definitely the big three lusts manifesting in many of our modern Christian sisters: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the pride of life. She knows why she got divorced, and it’s nothing to do with what she said. If we dig deeper and apply Proverbs 17:18, I can bet we will most likely find one of two reasons, if not both: either he became broke or broker than her, or she opened doors and started flirting with other men.

I was in cult like church for over 10 years and I can really say that I agree with what you said almost ruined my life financially spiritually phisically emotionally. Thank God I came out of it but now I look suspicious of every church and I am afraid to join a new churches.

Omg no one cares. You filed because you were not happy in the marriage. We get it. It's not a reason to get online and tell the whole world you single. Like how much attention does one person really need. Gone are the days when a failed marriage isn't glorified. Let's bring that back😅

Incorrect. I filed for divorce because the abuse I experienced in the marriage was taking a toll on my health (psychologically/mentally/emotionally spiritually and physically). I realised that it was not God’s Will for me to stay in a situation that could lead to death of ANY kind. I’m sharing my story to encourage those who may be going through similar that there is a life God destined for us to LIVE which can only be achieved when we are free from abuse. God bless you

@@ChannelleChayil Did he cheat? If not, you are wrong. Divorcing on the basis of any form of abuse is breaking the covenant, therefore it is a sin. Marriage represents Christ and His Bride, the Church. We abused Him, we spat on Him, we even killed Him, but did He not stay until the end? Does it not make you wonder why Jesus never had a wife when He was on earth? Maybe because He was already married and had to model how to remain faithful in marriage amidst adversity. There are ways to deal with an abusive man as a Christian; you could have at least sent him to prison to think about his actions. There are consequences to our actions, and may the Lord Jesus Christ have mercy on us. May the Lord Jesus Christ be with us when we make bad decisions, and if you are wrong, repent and go beg your husband to take you back -- life is tough without the protection of a husband, unless you are cool with being a concubine to the government.
