I love Tymon but I think this points to a side of him that rarely gets discussed: sometimes, he's a bit immature. I think this is totally excusable given his relatively young age, but, yeah. Apparently even Matty avoided talking to him before an episode of Monkey League, saying that he didn't want to deal with Tymon's yip yap, whatever that means. Running up to the other guy after getting an almost-certainly-winning average and giddily asking "what did you get???" isn't exactly good sportsmanship, nor is it mature. But I still love Tymon. When you're that good at cubing and you're relatively young, it's okay.

Tymon being sponsored by GAN is his downfall. If only he could use the WRM V9 he would be the fastest in the world right now. The MOYU cubes are on another level right now and have destroyed any reason to buy a GAN for twice the price.

Yiheng has 16 sub-5 averages on the Gan 12. Including WR average of 4.48. Moyu cubes arent the best anymore.

You could make the argument though that Tymon's turning style doesn't fit the GAN cubes. But in his latest averages and singles he has been getting good solves with barely any lock-ups
