Only Sera and the exorcists knew about the exterminations before Adam let it slip in the court hearing. Adam suggested them as a solution to the threat of Hell starting an uprising and Sera begrudgingly allowed it because she felt like it was her only viable option at the time. My best guess is that he wanted an excuse to punish Lilith by slaughtering her people because she dumped his sorry ass.

I think you need to put "begrudgingly" in quotes because there are so many things shown in the show that imply that she wanted to do this and Adam only gave her the justification to decide to do so. She had the means to check the voracity of what Adam told her, episode 6 explicitly shows that they have this ability, and she never did. That implies that she never cared for the inhabitants of Hell. "Extermination." She named it or at least was okay with the name. You exterminate pests and vermin. Using this term for people is the dehumanising language that has preceded every atrocity in recorded history. When Sit Pentious respawns in Heaven Emily looks surprised and happy. If Sera was surpårised to see him she would have had that underlying emotion on her face, instead, she looks like someone who just speedran the existential question of, "Am I the baddie?" and realised that the answer was, "Yes."

Right!! You never get to hear Lute go off in a song like that and I’m hoping for more of her in season 2 because her voice actor absolutely killed that part. I hate Lute (as you’re supposed to) but she’s a great villain with an even better voice. They did such a great job casting this show.

okay I know there isn't as much musical numbers in Helluva Boss like there is in Hazbin Hotel, but I think you'd have a BLAST watching and reacting to that! They have a pilot episode with a jingle, before you jump into the actual shows. Personally I love it more than Hazbin, and the few legitimate musical numbers they have, insane.

A minor detail you only really notice on a rewatch is that Sera's eyes have considerably less lustre than Emily's. The show advertises that she's self-righteous as she sees herself as a seraphim yet lacks one of the defining traits that they should have.

If you like Hazbin Hotel i highly recommend Helluva Boss - it‘s the „sister show“ to HH set in the same univers but centered around hellborn characters - it has songs but way fewer Loved your reaction btw 😊

Fellow Mimzy for the last 11 years😅 I have to chime in that it was an exciting personal experience to hear such a minor character shove their way into the main story and dipping out indefinitely until the next filler B story😅 I was so lucky to get the first watch of each episode in an empty house because I was WAY too involved with each roller coaster dip from Alastor's "...call me da~ad", "let's make a deal", to the showdown in episode 8 had me so glad for modern technology allowing us to pause and rewind ad nauseam for a small serotonin binger😅😅😅

"More Than Anything" Lucifer and Charlie's Father/Daughter duet makes me cry every time I play it. Razzle and Dazzle They're just toys that Lucifer gave life to, sothey have no souls and don't get an afterlife. Lucifer and Charlie where in Lucifer's Lulu World. In Pride ring In Helluva boss season 1 episode 2 Actavia was talking about it. Mammon has his own rip off Loo loo land. Charlie's Canon age is 200 years. #Theory Charlie wasn't first children of Lilith and Lucifer but they all born death. @ LadySygerrik Some stories of Lilith have her cursed with the inability to have children, with all of hers being either born dead or dying shortly after being born. It could be Charlie isn't their first child, just the first one to survive. @Valentino simp If we learned anything from Helluva Boss, it's that Viv love morbid backstories soooo @CrazyRani247 I heard that Vivz even confirmed that Charlie was fathered by Lucifer, because of the abortion curse. I can only assume that this led to some tension between Lucifer and Lilith and I wonder if that was part of why they broke up. I too am HELLUVA SUS from Lilith. Even before the end of this episode.

Alastor is a serial killer, that makes him a sociopath. They always do what's in their own best interest, this makes them massive cowards who only engage in things that they think they can win at. They never do anything where they might fail since their best interest is to never fail. Alastor vamoosed when it looked like he could fail and Sir Pentious went ahead even if he knew there was a low chance of success.

i'd understand if this was an analysis, but it's a reaction, and though i realize your music background, it can get super annoying when you're overanalyzing the music instead of just enjoying the moment and the progress through the story. hazbin, especially, uses its music to move the story ahead promptly, therefore you're bound to miss some things if you're only looking at the music itself and not the story it's attempting to tell.
