Check out Ohranger since that’s what you want to do. It has military pilots doing sometimes funny stuff. Then circle back to Dairanger.

Dairanger is such a unique sentai with it being a martial arts theme sentai, it wasn’t the first as they had that before in Maskman but Maskman didn’t fully tackle martial arts like Dairanger does. Each ranger has its own fighting style making them all feel unique. It also the first to have a Kid ranger and they did a pretty good job. Villains are also really unique too. Ohranger is interesting too. It’s a military based season and was originally going to be a bit more dark but due to an incident in Japan at the time, The show sadly got turned down and had more comedy to it but it still has its fair share of dark moments with exploring what would happen if Machines try to take over the human race.

So glad you finished zyuranger. You should continue with dairanger then ohranger and onward. Along with Kamen Rider

Dairanger is great, really weird and totally over the top. It's much more brutal than the MPR season which only uses the Zord scenes from this show. We never saw the hand to hand fighting and the story . I haven't watched Ohranger yet tho. So maybe there might be aspects that interest you more.

Dairanger and Ohranger are both great series, but I think I have a slight preference for Ohranger. Jetman is also really good.

Okay, yeah, Lami and Griforzar are adorable, but after he gets his voice back, well I'll let the Wiki say it, "He quickly earned the ire of his wife when his first words were a sexist comment about a woman's place belonging in the kitchen." lol
