Hi Stephanie ~ I love how the living room looks ! Great job. Small places are hard to change around. I have many rooms, but they are all small! And windows or door on every wall! Always a battle. Fatigue will be long lasting with that virus. Taste and smell, Google how to restore them . My daughter used essential oils. I think there was only 4 or 5 they recommend. It is weird - one for the smell of “fruit”, one for “flower scents” , one for household smells.. etc. And it is a quick little smell like 3-4 times daily. Nothing hard. It worked. Hers was gone for 5 months! Her husband was excited, he could order extra HOT chicken wings and she would eat them….nothing 🤷‍♀️ Of course it is no fun not tasting though. Hers was through Thanksgiving and Christmas when everyone makes their “specialities”…LOL I like your black wall and love how the bookcase blends in. But certainly can related to making changes and I like your idea you mentioned. “Victory in Jesus”…AMEN TIMMY !!!! Amen !!!! How blessed are we who understand the greatest of that meaning ! Turned out lovely! I love your colors. the new orientation of the area rug is a good choice. It indeed makes the space appear larger. The dark wall makes that end of the room seem visually heavy.

Hi Stephanie, I wanted to answer your question regarding dust under your lovely rug. The dust filters down through the rug over time. There is nothing you can do to stop this natural process. Vacuuming slows the accumulation, but will not stop the process. I like the different stools, and would encourage you to NOT paint them - the natural wood is desirable and adds to the ascetic appeal of your decoration style and flare. The layout is excellent, and I like the changes you have made. I also agree with the idea of bookshelves on either side of the TV. But I would recommend you consider shelving that would allow you to go all the way across the top. Placement of valued treasured books and a few natural items would be lovely. To lighten the area (bookself across the top) consider placement of a mirror would add light without additional painting. Don't paint the dark wall until you have your cabinet fireplace. Once that is in place you will have a better idea of what you'd like. Blessings!!

Try buying nice earphones to plug into TV when Timmy is watching so you can not only have quiet but do whatever cleaning you may need and won’t disturb him. That’s what my husband and I did because we live in same size trailer as you!

I like the idea of matching bookcases,maybe paint the tv wall a lighter color would make the bookcases stand out.

I really like the new furniture arrangements. Everything you have done looks just amazing! You and Tim have such a nice home. Congrats on getting the pantry doorknob!😂👍 Personally, I like the darker color on the wall behind the TV. That way, the I see that the TV isn't just this big black rectangle in the middle of the wall. That's just me. I have a maroon accent wall behind mine. Perhaps a different color, or since you like touches of wood tones about the house, what about panels of wood stained bead board? I'd paint that white door. That sort of jumps out at you while the wall is dark. That's my two cents worth. I'm sure that others have even better suggestions.

I really like what you have done with the living room. I would recommend painting the black wall...perhaps a lighter color but a bold statement. I think that would set off the shelves that kind of disappear against the black wall. Maybe a burnt orange (soft, not glaring) to bring out the color in your rug. I know you will come up with something beautiful to do with it to further enhance your cozy home. LOVE your channel!

I saw your Instagram story, and laughed….how do you go from one barstool to four in such a short period of time?!! 😂😂😂😂😂 I guess if you’re not crazy about the finish, you could always put some gel stain on them to change the color a tad, but I think they look nice. I really like the rug changed around, it really does make it look bigger….I think it’s because it elongates the room. Man I wish I was a little closer, I’d help you move furniture we could go to Target and get your shelves and have all kinds of fun! Hope you have an amazing week! I can't help but cry when Timmy sings. Those are the songs of my youth...my Mom was a Pentacostal minister, and we had (still have) a family church started over 100 years ago. These are the days they taught us about growing up, and I am so far away from home raising my own family. His song is such a blessing.

Maybe mount the TV instead of have it on the TV cabinet? I wondered about turning the loveseat facing the TV now, to separate the kitchen from the livingroom. Might be too squished ? I always love the couch back open to my rooms, if they happen to work. Glad you found the barstool and I agree no paint on them. The wood tones are just perfect in your home.
