I just got mine and felt the same way but even if it did come out tomorrow it took 3 years for it to be semi common on shelves, you know scalpers gonna go ape for the next one. Add in the new ps4 units a few months ago I’d say we have another 2-3 years till it’s replaced.

Every single PS2 I’ve owned has had disk read errors even after tinkering and cleaning them up. The library is amazing but man that first run of consoles when it came out was a nightmare. I think I exchanged 5 until my last one which worked well for about two years.
