Back in February my girlfriend and I rode Big Thunder in the rain 7 times in a row! It was a walk on because of the rain and all the cast members were encouraging us to keep getting on, definitely one of my favorite Disney memories ever.

A rainy day at Disney World is still better than a sunny day at work lol.

The whole thing is baffling to me now. Paying one (very high) gate ticket price, then booking a pass to the park, then getting up at the crack of dawn to fight for the chance to pay for the ride you want to go on? Each to their own, but sounds like a heckin' nightmare to me

Hey 👋 It was my son’s 7th birthday and we stayed all day, through the rain. I was so excited that he was able to ride Tron twice that day. Watched the fireworks from Big Thunder Mountain. Adam, there is suppose to be a binder behind the counter at the quick service food places at Disney that you can ask to see and it is suppose to have the ingredients and calories for the dish you choose. They have it for people with allergens but anyone can ask to see it. Enjoying the videos. Good luck on the "bettering your health" journey. You've got this.

Tron looks awesome at night.If someone is dedicated to having fun a little rain won't be a problem.

Walking around Disney's theme parks and enjoying the sights and watching all the beauty and magic of it all under the rainy night... MAGICAL!!

I was there with my wife and son that night. It was our last night before we went home. We ended up leaving halfway through the fireworks. That rain just came on like crazy!

I know a rainy day isn't a good one for your Mom to use her annual pass, but can't wait to see the both of you in the parks. (Bring Dad too!)

So much better riding TRON at night. We still have the old heavy yellow ponchos. I see they put back the banners on the turrets as they were before the 50th anniversary. Moving guests especially at Magic Kingdom is always going to be a challenge. Thanks for taking us along and filling in the rain that’s not easy to do!👍🏻

Tron seems to be missing something. I think the bikes need to race. They should also have the building turn red sometimes and have bad guy version of the ride.

HEY ATW...MAN, I LOVE HOW THE TRON RIDE LOOKS AT NIGHT! I have been floored about Disney's TRON ride ever since you and Sean Clark rode a couple weeks ago. I believe TRON has to be one of the next gen rides at WDW along with Rise of the Resistance and Guardians of the Galaxy! Ahhh a rainy day riding rides. Takes me back to Geauga Lake in Ohio in the 80s. My friend and I on the double loop in the pouring rain. Going down the hill she screams "I'm drowning" Good Times!!

During My first visit to Disneyland last year I was pleasantly surprised how many of the west coast versions I enjoyed more… not all but many were better than the the Disney World renditions that I grew up with… pirates especially!!!

I remember when my dad and I rode Big Thunder in the rain. 😂 It was pouring while we were in line and we were hopeful that the rain would stop once we boarded. We were very, very wrong. 😂😂😂 So much fun tho!

We were also there Monday night. I think I probably passed you three times without even knowing it. I think you were on pirates the same time as us. Then we were on space mount in the LL when those people were yelling USA and we snuck over to leave in the resort monorail Q just as they filled it. I told my wife we should have went to the boat line. We were there for ten days and we finished our trip with an epic three park hop. Started in Epcot rode Guardians then animal kingdom. Dropped the kids off with the grandparents and off to MK. We managed to get on seven dwarves twice at fireworks time. Was an amazing day and an amazing trip

I need to try Tron at night. I have to say, I loved the ride when I got to go on. I agree about the $20. Well worth it in my opinion. We had rain when I was there for Happily Ever After. It was delayed for about 40 minutes but nobody was leaving. I guess for us from out of town it’s not as easy to just skip it. It was my first time back to see it and I wasn’t leaving. You’re lucky to be able to just drop in. Thanks for the video.

How is it that they made a ride in Disney for a movie that came out in 1984? I don't remember the movie being a smash hit. Though the video game was fun to play.

Adam, have you considered using Splenda, Stevia, or Equal as a sugar substitute? Splenda is my “go to” sweetener for coffee and tea.

That it was raining is icky, however it does add to the beauty, especially on camera because of all the reflection of the gorgeous Disney lighting and movement. Also the sound of the rain is beautiful. You know when I was a kid, my Mom and Dad and brother and myself got stuck in the "ravaging of the town" scene in the original Pirates of the Caribbean at Disneyland!🏰 It was a couple of decades ago. My Mom, Dad and brother had to carry their shoes and socks, roll up their pants and walk through about a foot high of water! My Dad carried me. Spoil alert: There are emergency exits behind the scenery! We got an entire book of E-Tickets, which was a huge deal! (Yes, I did say E-Tickets, I think it was the third to the last year that they used them. (Yes, I am one hundred and twenty years old, don't judge me.)) Fortunately I know I'm timeless.🤗🤭🤫 Am I crazy or do you already look thinner?! I think you DO! Am I right? (I AM crazy and you ARE thinner?!!!) The comment has ended and the comment' is over! Hi Adam. Another Holy Land update: You may want to come up here sooner than later. They have been making noticeable progress in demo'ing the property. The high-profile structures are still intact, but many of the others are either leveled already or in process. Landscaping is really being torn to shreds. Plus, they added huge tarping to fences around perimeter with ads for Advent Health ER, etc.

You should get a GoPro so we the viewers can see what the ride looks like at night 😎👍

We live off exit 55 (hey 27) and always plan things so that we will not be leaving the parks to return home until after at least 7 pm. Lately there is unfortunately still traffic due to construction, but it’s not as bad as the rush hour traffic.

We just returned from a few weeks at the WDW. I've never thought twice about riding Tron since its so short... like 3 times shorter than the Seven Dwarfs Mine train short.

I remember that I went on vacation with my family to WDW in the early 90's. My father and sister wanted to go on Thunder Mountain soon after we got off Mansion. My mother and I stayed behind because we did not like the more intense rides. While we were waiting for them to get back from the ride, rain was falling down in sheets with us ducking for cover. In short, the cast member operating the ride said that it was raining lightly and told the people in the vehicle they were in if they didn't want to ride in the rain, they could get off. My father and sister stayed on because they thought it was raining lightly. Big mistake. They found out the hard way that it was raining in sheets and they got soaked.

Adam, Here you are getting back in the grid. Giving us your best "Kevin Flynn" impersonations. "Tron" is at it's best at night and everyone wish's the ride was 30 seconds longer. The glow in the dark t-shirts are not a new idea. At Disneyland in 1992 at the exit to "Star Tours was a shop called "Star Traders" that sold "Star Wars" merch. You could buy jackets and t-shirts and the wording and panels on them all glowed in the dark. I can't wait to see Mum ride the "Tron". Cheers, Chris Perry.

Rain and Disney is the best! Lower crowds! Only better time is pre-hurricane days...everyone stays away! Will never get to CA but L🖤VE WDW Pirates🏴‍☠️has been my favorite ride of all since it opened!!!

Opening day, I was SUPER difficult getting a virtual queue. But I did Nab a Lightning lane for 8:30 PM, bc I knew I wanted it to be kinda the finale to the day if you will. I waited all day, and it was SO worth it. That first launch got me though! 😅😂😂

The people are braving the rain for the rides and the fireworks because they aren't passholders and have saved up for a while to come from all parts of the country to experience the park and they are managing their time wisely or at least as best they can.
