The color of your make is beautiful! It looks like 'plum' which has a pink glow! The hat works with it. Thanks for sharing. I am working on two shawls now; one is a crocheted dragonfly is sparkly grey, and the other is a herringbone knit that is a bit challenging but is also rewarding.

Love to see you with Little Man. He’s such a beautiful child. I like MJ’s designs a lot and even if you fudged the top, it’s still great, the hat is yours and deserves a tutorial. Too bad you’re not moving to FL. I hope Mr. C would reconsider. I live so close to Disney Springs. It’s expensive around here but so nice! Except for the heat and the afternoon storms of the Summer, the rest of the year is just lovely, even with the threat of hurricanes! Stay well.

Hi, you would love it here in Reno, NV. We have an insane amount of huge bobcats. They're coming down the mountains farther every year. We have to be very careful with ourselves and our pets. It's not uncommon to have bears and bobcats walking around downtown by the casinos, too 😊❤. I love your sweater and hat ❤❤❤❤

I've had this pattern in my queue since the package was released, but seeing your lovely has just moved it way up near the top of my list! And if I have enough yarn left, I'm goign to make a matching bucket hat like you have. So cute!! I am in the process of making my first of MJ's patterns (the Chunky Granny Cardigan) and I'm absolutely loving how it's working up! The pattern is great, and the video tutorial answers any questions I might have had. I highly recommend her patterns if someone is nervous about making a wearable! And thank you for speaking the truth about the reality of making wearables for larger body types. We need to make adjustments on the fly! I have enjoyed watching your trip videos so much!

Love your top and hat, and that purple 💜 . Can relate about healing the inner child, I'm 57 now and still a fan of Disney and doing fun kid things when able. I think that's why I love making amigurumi's so much because using my imagination to bring things to life for me and others makes me happy. I'm a hook snob too. I do not have a full allergy to gluten, but thanks to you, I think I do have a sensitivity as I can tell if I have had too much!! I feel so much better when I am careful with the gluten as well as the sugar (I am diabetic ). Thanks for helping educate me!

So easy to screw up a v stitch! I am a third of the way through a blanket for my grandson. I caught 2 screw ups in time to fix the stitch. But there have been 3 thus far I was not willing to frog back to and just pretended it was perfect! I doubt my grandson will look that close. So, I prayed over the boo boo and I believe he will never notice!! LOL!

I feel ya. I’m making a pair of socks and inadvertently substituted a row of pearls vs. knits in the texture pattern starting at the gusset section. I realized it when I was 10 rows from the toe section. I’m go8 g with it and calling g it a design feature. But now I have to make the 2nd sock the same way so they match and for the same. 😂

Good morning Jen, isn’t it funny even when you go on vacation you end up needing downtime at home to recover from the trip. I’ve never been to Disneyland or Disney World. I’ve always wanted to go but just never made it. I’m so happy that you and Lucas have been able to do things together just the two of you. Sounds like y’all are having a good time even though there’s been a lot of traveling. I can’t wait to see what you have in store for us this week especially the aquarium y’all went to. I have lost 3 shirts in hotel/motel stays. My late husband and I used to travel a lot. We took everything but our bed. At one time we even took our own sheets when we had a long stay in one place.

Six Flags theme park has the Looney Toons characters. We have been to the one here in Santa Clarita, CA many times. So much fun! We have meet Bugs Bunny and the gang, so many memories! You hat and top are so pretty! The purple looks good on you!

I totally understand the food allergies aspect of trusting to eat at places and finding places that won't make you sick when you eat. It's hard for sure. And paying the price for not advocating for yourself is awful. So glad you were finally somewhere safer to eat.

Hi Jennifer! Around the 6 minute mark you’re talking about under the arms with the V stitches, it’s kinda tricky and I had to watch the tutorial the first time for that section. It Realky helped out and it was too confusing to not watch the tutorial

60 staring hard at me in a month, so yeah everything has moved down south & longer tops are the only option 😂. The only thing that hasn’t is from my double mastectomy 8 years ago - blessings in everything 😊 Of course that means no v necks cause nothing to hold them up & they just droop to my scars. But blessing - no bras!!

Went to a coffee shop and asked them if they had milk free items they were laughing and carrying on and when I pulled up I told girl that the reason why I asked all those questions was because I am allergic to milk. Could tell the was her first job and she didn’t know about this particular allergy, so I educated her. 😊

When i travel i always say if i forget something i can buy it when we get there. Even forgotten meds can be transferred and refilled to a chain where you go.

I am allergic to eggs and chicken and potatoes among others but these are bad . When i was in the hospital they brought me a high protein meal . One was eggs and homfries and another was chicken breasts and mashed potatoes. The dietician said they could not accommodate me so i had had lumpy oatmeal for breakfast and rice, corn and carrots for other meals.😢

I have spent so much time crying lately about food , as I said before I have developed food allergies and there have been firsts like pizza ordered for birthdays. It’s so hard and people minimise something so serious. I was crying over the fact I couldn’t order something and actually thought Jen would understand 😂

I agree, the Dots hooks from We Crochet have quickly become my favourites, even over the Clover Amour, which were my favourite hooks before I found them. Also, Not sure if I missed this or not, but does anyone know what the yarn Jennifer is using for the c2c blanket? I have a desperate need!
