I FINISHED MY GARDEN QUILT and here it is! This is the final video in the Winging It 2023 Garden Quilt Project.
I took advantage of the beautiful sunny day today and would love to show you my finished quilt and reveal my favourite blocks.
If you have taken part in the project, I would love to put together a community video featuring your version. All you need to do is send me a short video - no more than 25 seconds filed LANDSCAPE - or a couple of photos of your quilt or favourite blocks.

We built our quilt block by block throughout 2023. If you complete one block a week, by the end of the year you will have a complete quilt top. Hand quilting will take a while, but I managed the whole quilt in 14 months.
Don't feel that you have to buy anything new - this can be made with scraps from your stash, old clothes, charity shop finds etc. You can be as co-ordinated (or not) as you like.
I am not an experienced quilter - I have made one before following a Hachette Partworks Publication called Sew and Stitch. The quilt I made with this partwork is the inspiration for our garden quilt. The garden theme is my own design though, so please can I ask you to not reproduce it for profit. If you post any work based on my designs, please could you credit me clearly.
Patterns are available on my website www.featherstitchhouse.co.uk There is a small charge for them, just to cover the cost of making these videos and keeping my website running.

Never managed to get going with this one but did watch a lot of the video's. The completed quilt is stunning!! Couldn't really envisage what it would look like and seeing it altogether now it's beautiful!

I hope you have remembered to put a label on it, as it will be an heirloom.

The seed packet block is the label. It's named and dated. I built it into the work, but KZfaq is my documentation too. It's a useful record of my work that will outlive me, I think.
