Sounds like you got a great truck. Unfortunstely, the more electronics they put on these things the more problems as they age. New Bumper looks a lot better.

It is so satisfying working on cars when you can fix stuff successfully. Even if it is a challenge when it works in the end it is a great feeling.

Ford has a climate control reset you can do that does two things. One. It checks the function of the climate control and can reset issues that has popped up before. Two. It gives you codes for what is wrong with the system. The code pops up as a two digital code in the bottom corner of the infotainment screen. Hold down the power and the A/C buttons for 3-5 secs to engage it. The buttons vary on Ford models but that’s usually the procedure.

I'd choose that Raptor over your new Ram every time! You'd be crazy to get rid of it for what it owes you...

When you said in your video you were having problems with the fan speed on the AC I immediately knew that it was a blow motor resistor. I had the same problem with my 2012 F150. I’ve heard it a common problem.

Note: When installing LED head lights to get the proper light exposure, you wanna make sure the LED is facing side to side, not top and bottom

Use off bug spray and a lite steel wool on the headlights, it will clean them up nicely

My buddy has a 2022 gen 3 raptor, he drove over a 3foot tall rock in a parking lot and it barely put a scratch on the skid plate those trucks are crazy (He's crazy too voided the warranty first week he had it)

As a driveline mechanic for 33 years and a proud 2012 raptor owner myself I can tell you honestly that your raptor will be driving long after your new ram is ready for the scrap pile ! 😊 great video!

I love that Raptor and one of the things I love about Ford, they're easy to work on.

Love the factory bumper, agree with you it looks how it should. Those LED light bulbs, install with care, make sure they’re aimed correctly. They’re not really designed for those reflector style headlights, mainly the projector ones not to say you can install them in there. I’d definitely recommend removing the hazing too, it makes a surprising difference to light output and will also blind other cars. Keep up the great content, watch every video every day and have been for the past 3-4 years. I know it must take some effort to push this many videos out in a week and the quality of the content is still very much up there!

I’d love to have that Raptor. That bumper that came on it is horrible looking glad you put that stock bumber back on it and you are correct you have to manually start it after you clear the engine codes for the remote start to work.the blower resister is super easy to change I always remove the three screws on the bottom of the glove box and remove the glove box then it’s super easy access and you don’t have put your body in all kinds of weird painful positions lol when you start getting up there in age the body does not like that lol. Cleaning those head light is super easy I’ve been using a product called blend 9 you just use glass cleaner to clean the head light first then just spray this stuff on and the head light looks like new and it last a good long time. Takes maybe 3 minutes

When I put new headlights in my 98 F150, I went with Auxbeams. Good bang for the buck. Only costed me $22 for the LED bulbs. And they're bright as hell

On your 2018 f-150 read your owners manual I have a 2010 and there's cam fallowers in the motor they cost 10.00 a piece they tick when they go bad if you let them go you will have a destroyed motor says that in the owners manual good luck! 25:47

I never noticed the oem bumper had open holes where most trucks would have fog lights but I googled it and it doesn’t have any fog lights which seems odd for an “off-road” truck
