The ending was deep. Dale used his vampire magic to seal Chad and Nina in the bedroom and set the room on fire. Chad was burned alive and died, but Nina managed to survive the disaster. Dale has compassion for Chadlet and risks his own life to save the child, before walking into the night never to be seen again. Nina, completely distraught over the loss of her husband, commits suicide. This was too deep bro

The ending is so fitting for dale. He got one thing he wanted, to be a vampire, started his plan, lit the house on fire, failed to kill Chad's girlfriend, lit himself on fire, had to run away from all of his belongings, and then forgot he would burn in the sun and died. He lived a life of continuous failure and died from more of it. What a sad, sad man with such a sad, sad life.

this is like a modern greek tragedy. dale was such a screw up he could only get by by staying with his polar opposite, a man who has everything going for him. after a while of chad and eventually his burgeoning family, dale resorted to unnatural methods of improving himself, in this case vampirism, to physically take chad down. but in the end, the only one he was defeating was himself, figuratively in his methods and literally in that he went out in the day. he ends up right back where he started, the only difference being the gap between him and chad widening as they're both ghosts, a fact chad seems excited by but dale seems crushed by
