Well, he doesn't exactly run into Tea or Riddles level lol. So it is super interesting to watch. I feel like even though he was getting smoked, you could see the immediate next match he seemed to be playing more serious after learning that the Kazuya was Riddles. Seems like top players are never really trying their hardest (at least not consciously) until facing another top player.

i wish you luck on your journey, I play competitively and even I took a week for genuine consistency.

Smash has 2 frames of leniency compared to Tekken for Ewgfs, I've never played smash but a tip for In putting it would be your attack input (in Tekken its called 2 idk ehat smash uses for electrics) but F n D,DF+2 your down should hit forwards in a rolling motion at the same time you do your 2 (like the input to do an electric) practicing it like this will mean you can consistently do it from any state :)

Practice in slow motion in training first then you’ll get it consistently

Also Kazuya repeatedly crouch dashing into Fludd

Kazuya is secretly obito uchiha who can phase through attacks. Makes sense because kazuya also ha a red eye

Try it in Tekken, if you do it there you can die ultra happy.

i mean sure but this is a really polarizing example because it's kazuya. for some matchups you don't really need to know too much depth because the character has basic and consistent kill confirms / combos that you can play around whereas playing neutral with kaz is a whole different beast

Through watching the entire video, Kazuya never lost an interaction. His moves have a disgusting amount of priority. They either traded or flat out beat Mario’s moves. With the 0 to deaths with extremely low SDI multipliers and stupid kill confirms off EWGF to Up B or Up Smash, the fact that you’re saying this is a matchup problem is ridiculous. It’s the fact that kazuya is broken

Lots and lots of tech, experience, and knowing combo routes. Riddles uses crouch-dash quite often, which is a faster, safer way to close distance than regular dash, and the inputs lead naturally to EWGF. Also, the conversions off a single EWGF or crouch-jab to zero-to-death people means that Kazuya's disadvantage isn't that bad because he's winning. Keep in mind that Riddles is also the best Kazuya in the world.
